Juneteenth is the day when freedom from slavery became a reality for all African Americans in the former Confederate States of America. CELEBRATE JUNETEENTH Celebrate Juneteenth in Downtown Tempe at the Juneteenth Block Party on Friday, June 19, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Centerpoint Plaza.
