Jungle 2 Jungle (1997) — "When you're a man, I'll take you to the Statue of Liberty."
from The Kulturecast · host Weirding Way Media
Not-So-Newvember continues with Disney's remake of the 1994 French comedy Un indien dans la ville: Jungle 2 Jungle. Directed by John Pasquin, the film stars Tim Allen as Michael Cromwell, a stuck-up New York commodities broker who travels to the Amazon to serve divorce papers to his estranged wife. While there, he learns he has a son, Mimi-Siku (Sam Huntington), and brings him back to New York to teach him about "being a man." It's the classic fish-out-of-water story as only Disney can tell it. Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, and Sean Liang talk Tim Allen, Martin Short, fish-out-of-water comedy, and so much more.
