Jurni Roco, Body

from The Odyssey Storytelling Podcast

The "Body" show on December 3rd, 2015, was a truly special event, featuring an amazing selection of stories. But none, perhaps, as quietly beautiful as Jurni Roco's story of dancing, learning, growth, and transformation. From Jurni's Odyssey bio: Jurni Roco is passionate about enabling and inspiring growth. She expresses her passion through teaching workshops and individual lessons on Personal Leadership, Argentine Tango, and Blues Dancing, as well as through writing and expressing her poetry. She recently moved back to Tucson after more than a year of travel that included dancing, DJing, performing and teaching Tango across the US. In Tucson she continues to express her passions. You might see her with a sign "Give a Topic, Get a Poem" writing poetry for passersby. Or teaching leadership skills at a large company. Or dancing in close embrace in a local restaurant. Or perhaps at the airport waiting to fly off on her next adventure. If you do, introduce yourself and be inspired to grow. This episode was performed and recorded in front of a live audience at The Screening Room on December 3rd, 2015, and was curated by Carolyn Langford Hussein Fort.
