Jury sides with NCAA in Gee; NY Passes NIL Law, Lane Kiffin Defamation Hypo

Amanda Christovich (@achristovichh) from Front Office Sports joins to discuss the recent ruling in the Gee v. NCAA trial. (6:52) Matthew Gee was a football player for USC and tragically passed away from CTE. Following his death, his wife filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the NCAA for alleged negligence in their awareness and disregard for concussions and proper treatment. The jury found that the NCAA was not negligent in the injuries Gee suffered leading to his death from CTE. New York has signed into law that college athletes are now allowed to profit off their name, image, and likeness.
