Jury Weighs Fate of Two Teen Accused in Teen Murder | Glasgow News

A Glasgow jury has begun deliberating in the chilling case of 15-year-old Amen Teklay’s death, allegedly caused by a sword attack from two teens. The 16-year-old claims self-defense, arguing he was ambushed after being sought out, while prosecutors insist it was a premeditated, murderous assault rooted in a feud. The 17-year-old denies any involvement, insisting he cooperated with police and had no part in the violence. The judge reminded jurors they hold the final say — acquitting the younger teen if self-defense holds, or convicting both if not. Deliberations are underway, with a verdict expected soon as the jury weighs conflicting accounts and grave accusations.
