Just Be Where You Are
from 10,000 NOs Hosted by Matthew Del Negro
In this excerpt, from one of our weekly Live Zoom calls with the 10,000 NOs Insiders Community, we discuss how everything from macro life decisions to acting in a scene, writing, filmmaking all require extreme presence. If we focus too much on what's coming down the pipeline we may very well miss out on the gold of the present moment. Actors, at this time of year, know this better than anyone: the sting of a pilot season that yields no fruit can cause one to think they're back to square one. But the truth is, at least in my career, most of the biggest breaks never come at the times of year when you expect them. Monday Morsels are the short-form companion to our Friday Interviews of 10,000 NOs... brief riffs on the show's central topics & themes as food for thought to chew on throughout your week. It is not the critic who counts. If you’ve been knocked down... get up, dust yourself off, and get back in the arena. If you want to give back, share this with someone who could use it and leave a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen, so more people find this show and benefit from these conversations.
