Just Human #380

from Just Human · host Just Human

In this episode, I dig into who Rep. Ilhan Omar and her family are and find that investigators are examining at least four things right now: immigration fraud, her personal finances, her campaign’s finances, and her contacts with at least one foreign contact. I also look deeper into the Talarico Hoax and find strong ties to grifters, scammers, and perhaps even the SVR. Finally, I walk through the claims that Ukrainian strikes on Yandex data centers in Russia took out Russian bots and affected the viewership and engagement of dissident-right podcasters and similar figures. There are a few throughlines in this episode that I highlight repeatedly. One, check the source material, and assess its credibility before accepting the information as true and before sharing it with others. Two, there are influence ops everywhere; there’s a war for your mind, so you must keep your guard up at all times. Particularly against information and individuals who appear to be confirming what you may already believe. And third, do the right thing. Take the high road. It will keep your conscience clear and act as a shield against those influence ops. Timestamps 00:00 Introduction 09:30 Update on the Rep.
