TODAY: JUST ME Author Pamela Downs In a world that often demands so much of each of us, ​even when we’re little, sometimes it’s important to take a ​moment to appreciate who we truly are. Inspired by text ​written by her then seven-year-old daughter, this sweet ​and heartfelt poem reminds children to celebrate the ​little things in life that make each of us unique. Although Pamela studied creative writing and dabbled in ​poetry and short stories, it was only after having her children that she ​finally found the courage and inspiration to turn her own pen to paper. “Just ​Me,” Pamela’s first book, was inspired by and celebrates her daughter’s ​fearless independence and self-confidence.
