Just Serve: Community Connect & Serve

Our conversation today with Shannon Atkinson-Ganoe & Melinda Topham from JustServe.org gave us all the details for their upcoming event, Community Connect & Serve. JustServe.org is a website where the volunteer needs of organizations may be posted and volunteers may search for places to serve in the community, providing opportunities to help those in need and enhance the quality of life in the community. The women explained how people and nonprofits/community groups can sign up to volunteer or post their volunteer needs on the website as well as their app. We talked about the Community Connect & Serve event happening on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3pm - 7pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (399 Apple Pie Ridge Road, Winchester.) From 3pm - 5pm nonprofits will have an opportunity to network with each other and learn about the services offered to those in need in our community. From 5pm - 7pm, the public is invited to attend in order to meet with the various nonprofits and learn more about JustServe.org. Find more information including the registration link on Facebook.
