'Just start...I promise you it will all fall into place' - Wuzzy Omiyale

For this episode we were joined by Wuzzy Omiyale , the founder of eco-conscious up cycling denim-wear brand, 'By Wuzzy'. Wuzzy is a London College of Fashion graduate however her path in fashion wasn't always set in stone.Coming from a lineage of tailors and designers you would have thought that fashion design would have always been Wuzzy's profession of choice, however this wasn't the case! Throughout the episode Wuzzy details what made her finally embrace the fashion path that her mother had pushed her down and what has helped her currently thrive. Having previously been a self-confessed shopaholic, Wuzzy shares how her overzealous consumption led to her not only reflecting on the effect she was having on the environment but also how she could make a difference by designing her own clothes. This thinking is what ultimately led to the birth of By.Wuzzy.Since starting her brand in 2020 this Wuzzy has seen her community grow day by day and her unique designs have led to her being featured in many prestigious publications such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue and The Guardian. Starting a brand off the whim and seeing it grow quite quickly can often be a lot to take in, Wuzzy Candidly shares how this led to her taking a short break from the brand and ultimately how it benefitted herself and the brand! Since recording Wuzzy has continued to develop her brand and grow her community in an organic way!
