THE JUSTICE OF JESUS — Week 1: Love Your Enemies, Turn the Other Cheek This week, we kicked off our new series, The Justice of Jesus, by exploring one of the most challenging and countercultural teachings in all of Scripture: love your enemies and turn the other cheek. In a world that celebrates revenge, self-protection, and getting even, Jesus offers a radically different vision of justice—one rooted not in retaliation, but in mercy, forgiveness, and transformative love. Looking at Jesus' response on the cross in Luke 23:32–38, we encounter a Savior who practiced what He preached.
