Their bodies were found the next day in the woods near the bridge. It took five years and a misplaced police report — but law enforcement eventually got their man. Richard Allen was found guilty on November 11, 2024, and sentenced to 130 years in prison. Now his attorneys are throwing everything at the wall hoping something sticks on appeal.
