Justice Served - Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty

from The Garrett Ashley Mullet Show · host Garrett Ashley Mullet

The verdict is in, and Kyle Rittenhouse has been found by a jury of his peers to be not guilty on all charges. By way of reminder, due process in this country is predicated on the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt. But of course the Left does not mean for due process to get in the way of their foregone conclusion driven by emotion and outrage over anyone daring to stand up to their lawless mob violence. Never mind that Mr. Rittenhouse was defending himself from violent assault when he took the lives of two other white men advancing on him with professed deadly intent, vaporizing the bicep of a third who was conducting himself similarly. Never mind that the video evidence made clear from the outset that Rittenhouse was the victim here, not the aggressor.  No, Leftists in political office, the media, and on Twitter want to burn Kenosha, Wisconsin to the ground now, push for gun control, and declare open season on "white supremacist" conservative white people. President Biden is "angry and concerned." Martin Luther King III says this "sends a clear message that violence, hatred, and racism can and will win in our nation." But the violence, hatred, and racism is primarily on your side of the political situation here, Democrats. The soft bigotry of low expectations is so tired. Put it away, already. And stop with the race baiting and dehumanization of the folks who hold nothing so controversial as that we should be a nation ruled by laws instead of the will and whim of arbitrary men. As clear as ever, we should all be able to see now that this has been from the beginning a question of the nature of truth and goodness, and whether such are transcendent realities which find their origin in God Almighty, or whether they are entirely arbitrary and based on us getting whatever we want whenever we want it. One of those positions is based in hubris and corruption, and it cannot endure. The other of those positions God has always promised to bless and prosper, and that is never going to change. We should plan and conduct ourselves accordingly.
