Justification | So That He Might Be Just | Rom. 3:21-26

Are you a good person? “Well, I’m not on the evening news for committing some heinous crime, and I mostly try to be good, so… yes?” That’s a fair response - though Jesus and the New Testament writers may have something else to say. Don’t worry, their goal isn’t to judge you or get you to comply with a new set of behavioral rules. They hope you see the futility of defending our “goodness” to a perfect and holy God (the epitome of good). Instead they offer the “Good News” that God already knows the details of our “not-goodness” and freely gives grace and new life through faith in Jesus (not yourself).
