Justin Bird, Auckland born pianist, returns to the stage to present an offering of German and French piano music. After a decade of studies in the US he returned to NZ in 2018 taking a hiatus from performing to build a studio of piano students. Now performing again - his first foray features German masterpieces by Bach, Schubert, and Schumann pitted side by side with elegant French bonbons by Chabrier and Faure for a sandwich of beautifully balanced music.
