Matchday 36 was action packed for issues both on and off the field, with Juventus’ 10-point deduction overshadowing everything else to have taken place over the weekend, even with Cremonese officially suffering relegation from Serie A to immediately return to Serie B.Juventus’ off-field issues might have played a part as they fell to a 4-1 hammering at Empoli, AC Milan thumped Sampdoria 5-1, Napoli beat Inter 3-1, Atalanta saw off Hellas Verona, and Lazio won at Udinese as well. AS Roma were unable to keep up with their fellow European hopefuls, drawing at home to Salernitana.
