We're live on Jeremiah Wonders with William Montgomery, live on Stereo, taking your suggestions, taking your calls. Let's play some messages right here right now. What's your own? Yeah.
Hey William, are you going to go to Austin with Joe and them? Man, I think you should. You'll go far if you stick with those guys. You said you do think I should or shouldn't?
It was hard to understand you. I think you should, yes. He thinks that you should go to Austin. Is that what he's saying?
I lost. Well, what's going to happen? I'm going to be down there for two months, and then things will open up back out of your eye. I mean, what are you talking about?
We don't know. What do I do? It's hard to say. Hard to say William.
You got to follow your gut. I mean, it's hard to say. Really hard to say. I don't know.
You should move there or not. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know.
It's either here or there. It's fine. What are you drinking over there? Is that a white claw?
It is a white claw hard-seltzer. Ruby, great for it. Really? Wow.
Good for you. That's very exciting. Really exciting. Really good.
Is that your favorite flavor? Yeah. This is the lime one. Yeah.
I love the lime one. Have you tried root beer float yet? Yeah. I love actually.
I actually. You love Ashley? Ashley. Ashley?
That's a bit of a running joke around here. I'll say, actually, and Erica will say, he's Ashley, and I'll say, bitch, you know who I'm talking about. We're live here on stereo with William Montgomery in his backyard right now, and I'm going to say it. This is one of the most unique podcasts that I've done.
I love this. We have the hell of a setup in here. We really do. We have cameras.
We have lights. We've got Wi-Fi. We have Wi-Fi. We have lights.
Camera. We're just missing the action. You're letting your beard go, man. This is one of the longest I've ever seen it.
I am. I'm addicted to doing this. What do you what do Larry and Francis think of your beard right now? My dad hates it.
He thinks it's too scraggly. Yeah, he hates it. I can never be a lawyer and methus. I can never be a lawyer in the movie.
Too Southern? Would you say it's too Southern? With the beard? Yeah.
Yeah. It is kind of a black thing. I think you're correct about that. It is a dad too Southern.
It's too Southern. I said I'm doing it. I'm growing it now. It's very popular with pictures right now.
It's very popular to have a big old beard as a baseball player. You've even got the hair poking out on the sides. I mean, you could be a pitcher. Do I look like a baseball player?
You look exactly like a baseball player. You have the hat on. We're both shaking our legs right now. Do you do that a lot?
The restless leg kind of thing? I do it all the time. Yeah. I can't feel my brother Vance.
My brother Vance has it. When I go back home, my family's like, stop shaking your leg. And I'm like, OK, sorry. My bet?
Do they well. Yeah. Next stop. What do you do to your stop?
I stop. But then five minutes later, I'm like, you're shaking it again. It's also a little crisp out here. You know, this is it's nice for me to be out here with you where I've seen so many Instagram lives and so many videos.
And we're actually in the midst and receipt right now. Oh, my boogie. Nice. And everybody gets a thing out of my, my ear.
It's weird to me out. Is it weird now? A little bit. We got to hear the people though, if they ask us questions.
Right. That is kind of the thing. But yeah, this is generally Jeremiah, where I hang out. Is this where you reflect and write?
Would you say? Yeah, over at this table right here. So you've come up with so many good jokes at that white table right there. Just right here.
All hours of the night. All hours of the night. We're really told me that you'll sometimes go on the Kill Tony discord. And then you'll just stay out here for hours in the corner, sometimes writing and reading shell silver steam poems.
Oh, well, I love shell silver steve. You know, are you familiar with them? Where the sidewalk ends? I think so.
Yeah, no, that's a good one. You know that one? Yeah. Yeah, I owned it.
I owned it. You owned it. What do you mean? You?
I owned it. Stock and shell silver steam back in 93. Really? Back in 93.
How old were you? I was 35. My God. You were 35 and 93.
Yeah. How old were you? So was I doing over there. It was not connected.
I was at here. Oh, well, then we're fine. That I keep going. Here we are.
We're back. I keep going on and off the Wi-Fi. It's just what we're doing now. It's just what's going to happen tonight.
Yeah. So let's play some more messages. We're live here in stereo. William Montgomery, I'm a Jeremiah alive stereo experience.
Do you want to hit that player? Yeah. Can you hear the message? Hey, what's up, Jerry?
My I'm a big fan, brother. Hell yeah. What up, Abe? How you doing, bro?
Thanks for calling into the show. We'll play some of these technical difficulties. Make me think you need Dr. Red Man.
Dr. Red Man. Yeah. Honestly, it's all been on my side.
Williams has been fine. It's something with my cell phone coverage in the backyard. Like the app has been fine for whatever reason the my cell phone coverage has been a little wonky. But let's play some more messages.
You all Jeremiah, do you own a zoom eight, leverage six, the recorder, for your podcast on that? Yeah. Yeah. That's what we're using right now, actually.
That's part of the the tech stuff that I'm doing is on stereo. So much for the tech support, Los Digits. We greatly appreciate it. Where's your where's your uncle Hispanic uncle right now?
We don't know where he is. Is that so? Dude, you just slammed Los Digits, dude. Yeah.
We're actually using zoom eight, six right now to record the podcast version, which we're using the stereo right now to be live on. And I just took a little sipsies of water and we're going to play a few more messages right here on the show. Hey, Jeremiah, should I put my mortgage on the Steelers? Put the mortgage on the Steelers.
I have no idea what that means. But I would say, um, no, because I'm a Kansas City guy. So at the end of the day, regardless of what their record ends up being, I'm going to rep Kansas City. I'm even wearing a hoodie right now.
Yeah. What do you mean? put the mortgage on the Steelers? I don't even know that.
I mean, either. Hit. Hit. Hit.
Why don't you hit this message? Why don't you hit the next message? We're acting. Do do do do do do do do.
Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
This is nice to see you. This is fun. Regardless. We're just outside.
We're we got the cool air. It's becoming winter time here in Los Angeles. And it's just like, um, this is a different podcasting experience when you can just look in the backyard and it seems like there's a lot of history in this backyard. Like there's a lot of, there's a ton of history.
There's like a shed back here stick with Joe Rogan and his crew. You will go far if you stay in that crew. Get in in the beginning in the early stages and later on down the road, you'll be one of the beginners with that crew later on down the road. You'll be a beginner.
If you stick with them now in the crew, I got to say that's pretty solid advice. I think that you should listen to that, William. I just want to be like the beetle juice of Howard Stern for a kill tonic. You just want to say like we say William Montgomery three times and then you just appear.
And I just want to be a short little black guy with those crazy teeth and just smile. What about beetle juice? Is he still with us? I don't know.
I hope he has. I hope he was a believer in Jesus. Me too. Or just saying.
I don't know if he was or not. We don't know. It is hard to say. I don't know if he was or not.
How are you doing? Emotionally right now, William. How would you guess? Why do you give me that tone when I just ask about your emotions?
How would you guess? How are my emotions? I'm drinking these white cloths and smoking. What do you, how do you think I'm doing right now?
I don't know. Obviously you come back and be with that kind of anger. Maybe it's not so good. Yeah, it's a weird time for me.
I watched Grublitz do the other night. Have you ever seen that? Nope. Yes, I have.
I've seen Grublins. Oh my God. It's the best. It's really good.
There's a best grublitz. Also, there's that hot gremlin girl on it. Man. Oh man.
When that puppet is showing puppet cleavage. Just as a gremlin as a little demonic doll. I love it. That's hot.
It really gets your years going, doesn't it? It really does. I taught. We're talking Remlins 2 right now and Jeremiah wonders live with William Montgomery.
Let's play some more messages. All right, listen, guys. I got to take back my earlier message. This is not the best show I've ever heard of my entire life.
It's the third best show I've ever heard of my entire life. Thank you for making my Sunday. Awesome. Wow.
Thanks to our pal Jeff Ross calling into the show. So much Jeff Ross. I think we both can agree. We loved you and the movie Aliens.
What does that mean, William? What does that mean? Wasn't he an actor in Aliens? The movie Aliens?
Yeah, wasn't he? No. He was not an alien. No, I don't think so.
Was he in Twister? Yes. Okay, Jeff, we loved you in Twister. Thank you for calling in.
So guys, sending the love from New Zealand, just asking if you guys are going to go touring after COVID's done, or you're just going to tour America like crazy and just give those dates in one after another. Sending the love to his boys. Sending our love to New Zealand. I've never been to New Zealand.
The closest I've been is Australia. And I seriously hope that I get to go to New Zealand someday. I would like to go there. What do you think?
What do you think? What do you think? What do you think? What's hold on?
First year, what's your best New Zealand accent? New Zealand? It's great to be here. New Zealand?
I know. It's great to be here. It's great to be here. It's great to be on right now.
Sure. I'm welcome. It just feels really good to be here. Koalas?
I like your shorts. You got very nice shorts on. It's one of the better shorts I've seen. I like your red shirt.
You really? What kind of sweatshirt do you have on right now? It says Los Doses on it. It's a sort of a nod to people who do LSD.
Are you one of those dead hits? Dead hits? Are you dead hits? Are you dead hits?
Are you dead hits? Dead hits? Are you dead hits? Dead hits?
Are you dead hits? Dead hits? Is it a parrot from the other from the other back out? Am I talking into some kind of wind tunnel?
It sounds like a wind tunnel. I'm hearing that and then I'm hearing it in my Bluetooth thing. Yeah, I mean, I'd love to go there. I would love to go to England.
Emi-deeze. Hey, dad, don't it? Hey, dad. Oh, look, strike me not my bed and primping it, prim and propo.
My name is William Montgomery. Henry, you say you say. Say I'd love to go there. Well, there's a lot of places we want to go.
So yes, we plan on once things are prim and proper. Sticks are prim and proper. Jeremy's going to let me open up for him. So I greatly appreciate it, Jeremy.
I would love. I mean, you have in the past. I'd love for you to again. Some of those hunting and beach shows I love.
I love when we would hit the road down to. Well, I looked up to your body. Who was your body on the music stuff? My body on the music stuff?
Yeah. Which body on the music? What's his name? The guy who did music with you?
Pat Reagan? Yeah, Pat Reagan. I looked up his Instagram the other day and he blocked me. Really?
Why do you block you? I don't know. Hey, you asked him. What did you do to my boyfriend?
I'd do anything to him. All right. I'm maybe off to call him up and see what's going on. Yeah, call him up.
Maybe we should call him on this later. Oh, yeah. Let's add another tech thing. I added another debacle to.
There we go. I'm going to hit play on this. We're live here on Stereo, taking messages, taking scene suggestions with William Montgomery. Do you want to hit your play button, William?
Yeah, I'll follow your gut. Cool. Well, we greatly appreciate it. Thank you for that.
You hear that bell on the disc? That's an ice cream bell that he also sells. That sounds like an emergency. That's an ice cream bell.
It's an ice cream bell and he also sells corn. Also, sells corn. Corn and ice cream. Those are two bells.
What's your favorite movie to watch? The guy who drives around in ice cream and sells the kids. That doesn't seem to be a guy who's like, are you lying? No, he's asking me.
What's my favorite Christmas movie? I got to tell him the Jungle Buck. What's oh my God. Are you really going to fucking ask me that?
What do you ask? What's my favorite Christmas movie? Well, jingle all the way is one of mine. What's yours?
I also like Christmas vacation a lot. That's a classic. I love Christmas vacation. It's so good.
When he says, shitter's full. I saw a t-shirt of that. We're just an RV on it. Just a shitter's full.
And I was like, this is a pretty solid shirt right here. Would you wear that if I got that for you? Yeah, I'd wear it. Yeah.
Would you wear it if I got it for you? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Don't tell anybody. But yeah, I would. Yeah. Yeah.
Actually, you could tell people. You could tell people like I got that for him. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They said, yeah, I'll be right there.
Yeah. But play a few more messages. I'm going to plug in my phone over here because it is actually low on battery. They really don't.
Take a few more messages. We're live in a shower. I tend to cry when I watch the movie Herald and Mod with my girlfriend. Every Mochi's nose is too short for it to be you, Jeremiah.
Do you hear that, Jeremiah? I'm glad you don't. Yeah. Where are you?
Hold on. Are we just doing all these messages? See all the Tiber cats. No, but to answer your question, I'm more of a crier in a bed.
I'm not a crier in a bathroom. So. Yo, William, what's your favorite movie to watch during the fucking holidays? And what's your favorite thing to eat?
What's your favorite thing to eat, William? Probably for Holies. You like for Holies that much? Or wait, I feel like you tailored that because low stages called in.
Would you agree with that? He's Hispanic. He knows I like for Holies. Is that your favorite Mexican treat?
It tends to be. That's fair. It tends to be. Are you a hot salsa kind of guy?
I love hot sauce. You have hot sauce. What did you call it? Salsa's with the plural.
Because it's multiple sauces. Do you like hot sauce? I hate hot sauce. You know, you can raise the mic to you.
You know, okay, there's gunshots and receipts right now. So I hear that. They definitely heard that. That was actually a firework.
But it's strange that there's fireworks happening at this time and night, at this time of year. When you say so, William, that's kind of weird. But I tend to think about my favorite song. The living in recita goes west down.
Vinterable of art. All the vampires. They look like Jesus. Or home with broken hearts.
Because I'm in. That's a hell of a song. It's a great song. Tom Petty, Rest in Peace.
Yeah. Guess what? He broke my heart that day. What the day?
What do you mean? Tom Petty and the heartbreaker. He broke my heart that day. Your buddies?
Yeah, he's my dad. She wearing that hat? Yeah, he was wearing a saxophone hat. Got a Brody Stevens hat.
It's really, really, it's not a Brody Stevens hat. How many times do I have to tell you? It looks like a Jeremy. Oh, really?
Looks like a Brody Stevens hat? Really? See, Jeremiah, are you recording on these cameras? No, this is just for me.
I'm not recording any of this. This is just so you and I. Okay, good. So you and I can work out.
We have a lot of beef to work through. We have a lot of differences. We have a lot of different. We have a lot of different.
No, how much difference we have. Okay, stop. I don't want to hear that. Oh, really?
Really? Yeah, to some extent. Yeah. What do you mean?
I don't wear red sweatshirts. I've read here. My mom told me. What the heck is that?
I have red hair. I can't wear red. Oh, just because you have red hair, you're not allowed to entice people with red clothing? Yeah, I can't wear red.
Yeah, I can't wear it. Whatever. Sue me. Maybe I will.
Well done. Lady who's car that you hit, almost starting to sue you. And sorry if I'm bringing up spoiled news. I am going to present her to the ICE program.
Yeah. When I, Jeremiah, when I show you her ID, she sent me, it's bullshit. It's not even a real ID? No, it's not at all.
Really? Not at all. Seriously, I'll show you. You should show me.
Do you hear those shotguns? Yeah. We'll just say the most interesting thing in this backyard is because there's a shed. There's a swing set.
There's a lot of wood articles. They look like they're sighting. There looks like there's like some tables. There's some interesting stuff back here.
I'm not going to lie. There's bikes. Hey, you do have your bike back here. Or is that not your bike?
Is right back there? No, it's not my bike. Jeremiah, are you really going to make fun of all this stuff? I mean, I'm at the point where I want to get my bike out here, but I'm worried they're going to worry about me bringing my bike here.
Why would they worry? They've got a lot of space? Yeah, tell me about it. That's something I wonder.
You think that they would be really offended, William. If you park your bike right over there by the three other bikes that I'm looking at right now, I might. Really? They might care.
Just raise the mic. You don't have to do this, William. What do you mean? You keep doing this.
You keep doing this. People are watching the cameras. No, you keep doing this where you can just raise your arm, dude. I don't raise my arm.
Oh, you don't raise your arm for anybody? Nope. Unless if you are the guy who's ball I hit into his backyard in that baseball movie. Oh, you were in the sandlot?
Yeah, the sandlot. You were in the sandlot as a kid. Remember when we did our vacuum cleaner up through the treehouse and I was a guy that came up that was filled with dust. Remember when you kissed Wendy Pefricorn?
Yeah, I pretended like I was dead in the bottom of a pool. Yes, I remember. Do you remember when Squintz, who originally was supposed to kiss Wendy Pefricorn? You pushed him out of the way and you're like, I got this.
Yes, Squintz, Balladora. Yes, I remember that. Do you remember naming? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. They were my favorite other child actors in the movie. They were really sweet.
I love them, Jeremiah. How do you bring it up? You're voicemail. You're voice my real up.
You're voice my real up. You're voice my real up. B-day. Your voice just happened to go real way up.
Really? Yeah. See, Jeremiah, all I'm thinking is this situation where you're sitting 10 feet away from me, we should do this as a podcast and like eventually bring a guest in in the middle. Maybe we can bring Erica in here.
We could at a different time. In an interview here. Yeah, okay. At some point, right.
At a different time, whatever. My apologies. No, no, I like your idea. I didn't mean to shut it down.
I like this. I was sitting this far apart. I like it too. And it wasn't that far in the drive for me to be honest, I would do this again.
Yeah, we should do it again really soon. All right. Well, why don't you take a few messages and I'm going to swap out some text stuff. Just keep talking to our guest for a second.
We're live here in Stereo Up with William Montgomery. I didn't hear that. That's it. Yeah, my uncle wrote hectic is where I moved to Austin actually.
Not to live out his dream, become the Kill Tony regular, but to actually join the I think I told you the coalition of dust parents collectors. He's out there for a cool minute. Yeah. Big shout out to the actors.
That's what I'm. Here, let's hear it. Hey, just wanted to say I'm a big fan of both of you guys, whether you'll come to Texas or not. Still going to keep following it.
I love you guys this company. Did you hear all that, Jeremiah didn't hear it. Yeah, he said that that was very nice. He said that he said regardless of if we go to Texas or not, he still loves our comedy supports us.
So I appreciate that kind message. We need a positivity right now that you're sending. So thank you very much for that. That was very nice.
You know, suppositories. Suppositories? Well, I fuck it. When the fuck are you going to fucking fight?
Lewis J. Gomez again, motherfucker. When am I going to fight Lewis J. Gomez again?
I'm never going to give him that fight because he's to live with that the rest of his life that I slapboxed him in the streets and owned it. Did you beat him? I did beat him. That was the whole thing.
I saw a video I think. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. Have you ever been in a slapbox match?
William, I've never been in a fight. Really? I've honestly never been in a fight. Well, I've only been officially in that one.
That was that was the ordained official, my first official one. So there you go. Sounds scary. I mean, Jeremiah, congratulations on the new stand up kid on the way.
What is your comedy stand up highlight in your career so far? Oh, career highlight for stand up comedy. I mean, one of them is becoming a paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store and the day that I saw my name painted on that wall. I took a lot of work to make that happen.
And it's kind of funny. There's a lot of Kill Tony listeners out there that don't realize that I'm a regular and that I just do characters or music. And stand up is what I do the most of. So that's why I was so excited about the special coming out and stuff like that was mainly because some people were unaware that's like the main thing that I do.
So yeah, it's a become a paid regular comedy. So it's definitely up there. There's other ones. But that was one of the first ones to come to mind when somebody asked that question.
Jeremiah, what do you think? What are the chances of me becoming a paid regular up there? I think you're just with me. I will be honest with you.
I'm being honest with you right now. Seriously, don't don't mess around with us. I'm not a listener or lessening. What are my chances?
What are your chances? Yeah, or do I move back to Memphis and become an eighth grade English teacher for an all black high school? That's what that's the alternative. It's either become a regular or you move back home and become a substitute teacher.
I added the substitute. And help out black people who don't speak English. Well, that'd be nice. But okay, I think that your calling is not that particular.
I think that there's other people better suited for that. And I think that there's a good chance of you becoming a regular when things get back to normal at the county store. The main challenge right now is when it opens back up, they're not necessarily going to be looking for newer regulars because there'd be so few spots because it's just going to take a while. So what do I do?
What's my angle? You keep writing and you keep doing what you're doing. Did you hear my Dolly Parton jokes? No, I'd love to though.
As you all know, Dolly Parton cured COVID. Now, if only she could come up with the vaccine for my achy, breaky heart. What do you think about that? I liked it.
And then imagine Dolly Parton in a lap coat. I haven't seen cotton stretch that then since the South had to start paying for labor. Wait, did she die? No, she's still with us.
Why is she in the lexicon right now? Because you wrote Dolly Parton jokes and Melissa Vissenor just a Dolly Parton impression on Saturday Night Live. Did she do something recently that made you think of her? Who did?
Melissa Vissenor just last night on SNL. She did. Was it funny? Her impression is amazing.
No, I had one interest in all in a while. It's interesting that both of you are talking about Dolly right now. Yeah, that naturally just happened. Great minds.
Thanking alike. Great minds thinking alike. Yep, that's happening. You're my second one, right?
No, I didn't hear your second Dolly Parton joke. What was it? We're live here on stereo with William Montgomery telling me jokes. I've never heard him tell you.
You didn't hear the second one? No, I didn't hear the second one. No, we heard the second one. Because we weren't on air, right?
Oh, we're on air. So you heard the first one about the achy breaky art. But we didn't hear the second Dolly Parton joke that we all want to hear. Imagine Dolly Parton in a lap coat.
I haven't seen cotton stretch that then since the South had to start paying for labor. I did hear that one. I just want to hear it again. That's a God.
It's a silly one. Oh, that's a God. What's nice? Oh, this is nice.
We feel good. I'd mix. You know what? Your face makes me feel good.
Seeing friends in person. That's right. Yeah. You're sweet.
