I'm a traveling man. I've made a lot of stops all over the world and a never in part. I've opened the heart of at least one lucky girl." That's some Ricky Nelson. Coming from the 1961 oldies Billboard charts, I'm Jeremiah Watkins on Jeremiah Wonders.
How the heck are you today? Hope you guys are out there doing fantastic. Guys, I'm traveling. Traveling man right now.
This is going to be super short. I'm scrounging, scrapping to do this real quick before I record more episodes before I go back out on the road with Tony Hinchcliffe and the gang for Kill Tony and some stand-up shows in Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio as well as Fort Wayne, Indiana. There you go. I'm about to go to Lexington, Kentucky and Nashville.
We're doing Kill Tony shows and some stand-up shows here and there. Going on the road the next couple of weekends. Yeah, guys. Then also, Reagan and Watkins.

Phoenix, maybe 26th. Yeah. Want to think the sponsors of the show Speedweed. What up, y'all?
OG Cush bar to the show. And also, Bronx, Born Pizza and Bend Oregon. Guys, just rattling off some announcements. I'm traveling a lot.
I might have to come up with a solo pot soon. I had a phenomenal week in Montreal. I will tell you guys about that later. But I want to get into this podcast with my buddy, Sandra Yokalano, very soon.
This is one of the weirdest episodes I've recorded yet. A lot of heavy riffing. Got to know Sandra a little bit, but mainly we riffed for a good portion of the podcast. Email your boy, Jeremiah Watkins at gmail.com with any kinds of challenge stories or music to be possibly featured in the intro of this podcast.
Thank you guys so much for listening. And I just want to get right into this thing with my pal, Sandra Yokalano on Jeremiah Wonders. Dear Liza, dear Liza, there's a square in my face. Dear Liza, a square.
Sandra Yokalano is on Jeremiah Wonders today. Hey, everybody. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to start the show with you. No, it's fun.
Yeah. It's a well, a weird, wacky foot. It's a fun today. Thanks for having me on the cast.
Yeah, man. We're in Vegas right now. Plus Vegas, beautiful, once beautiful Las Vegas. It used to be so pretty here.
But the horse took over. Yeah, the horse took over and then the economy just went, you know, it went a lot better, but not for people that weren't there to see a horse, right? Or the horse themselves. If you're here specifically the horse, then business is building.
You're in the right spot. But if you are not here for that, no, no, if you're here for food or getting in touch with finding out who you are, no, unless you like horse, then you'll find out you like horse. You're going to love them. Yeah, they got good ones here.
Oh, so good. They just like, I mean, last night, I mean, oh my God, I mean, we had a room full of them tons. They didn't even ask when they just say, can we come in? We're horse.
Yeah, obviously. Yeah, welcome to the laugh factory. Yeah. As I feel the room.
Yeah, for sure. Yeah, prostitutes, pimps, drugs, everything, drug lords, drug landlords, sometimes you just sit drugs in the seats, the full the seats, just sacks of, sacks of drugs, kai-in, kai-in, kai-in, kai-in. Sometimes the the Lords will be in there and they get drunk and you have to drag them. So they'll be drug lords, literally dragged out drug, they'll be dragged, drag lords, but that's, but not, they're not cross dressers.
They're not, no, no, no, they're being dragged out. They're just being dragged out. The physical literal, not the like the drag race where you move, move, move, move, then you're a guy wearing a dress. Yeah.
Not one of those things. No. Yeah. No.
Another ambulance goes by Vegas. It's like, it's intense. There's no clocks here, but there is ambulances. But there are ambulances, 24 hours a day.
That's actually how you tell time here. It's like, oh, it's, it's 1230, the ambulance is coming by. Yeah. Right on time.
It's the busload that ships them in from, you know, Utah and Colorado and just all over the place. They're just here. You're old, you're just so security check, please gamble everything away. It's done.
It's done. Beautiful town. Are you a gambler? Um, not really.
Sometimes I'll like to play a video poker here and there, maybe some blackjack, but nothing. I look at the craps table and I get anxiety just looking at it because I don't know what it does. I've never had enough money to be like, yeah, let it ride. Yeah, let's just keep.
Yeah. The expression let it ride. I'm not in that tax bracket. Right.
Who's right? Who's right? Okay. Who's Uber lift?
What's happened? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. What's the ride? Do I have to keep my hands on? Is it surging right now?
I can't, I can't work. Thank you. No, I'm good. We can't do this.
I've often wanted to like go up to one of those tables and just with a group of friends and just all of a sudden just like just out of nowhere, just go, oh and freak out. But there's nothing happening at the table and everybody's just like, what's what are they doing? Oh, yeah. I got some Instagram likes or something like related or something.
It's like black 27. Yeah. And they look and there's literally no bad on the table. Yeah, there's nothing everybody's still like, what's your bets?
Oh, oh, I just, it's my favorite number. I just got really excited. What if you're a fan of gambling and that's how you, you would just be, you're just so excited that everybody was gambling. Yeah.
Like, have a good night everybody. All right. Great. You're looking good.
You know, same time next week. All right. Yeah, we're back. Hey, then, this place never shuts down and then everybody just dies.
Like, we lost all our money. We have no mortgage payment. Yeah, Vegas. Vegas, baby.
Yeah, dude. Oh, how do we meet originally? How do we know each other for man? Probably at least at least seven or eight years.
Probably. Yeah. I moved to LA in 2010 and in August. So it'll be, yeah, that's one of the beed.
Yeah, I moved in July of 2009, started doing stand up out here in January of 2010. Oh, wow. Yeah. Were you doing stand up back in Florida before we moved out here?
Yeah, I started doing it for, oh man, I was doing it for about three years in Florida. Yeah. At this little club called, Coconuts Comedy Club. Coconuts?
Coconuts Comedy Club, who was famous for having like 14 clubs back in the 80s and they were famous for paying comics in cocaine. Cocana. Cocana. Cocana.
You go down there and do a hot 20, come back with a hot eight ball, you know? And then eventually, a lot of comics didn't make it, you know, like, I mean, they made a living, but a lot of them just became drug lords because drag lords are drug lords. Drag, drag, drag, drug down drug lords. Okay.
A couple of them have been wearing different clothes. Like, I don't have one friend who went down there and he got paid in cocaine and then he ended up becoming a drug lord. But then, get this, he had so much drugs and money in his system that he ended up wearing his wives clothing because he was also a polygamist. So, yeah.
What are you going to do? Well, I mean, I'm probably going to get a cup of coffee after this, you know, but other than that, I don't know what comedy show? Okay. Yeah.
We still got two more shows tonight. We got two shows. Two shows. Yeah.
It's been fun, man. It hasn't been a lot of fun. It's been cool. Vegas crowds aren't, I thought it'd be a little more fried in the brain.
Yeah. But the late show that I did last night, one of my least favorite crowds. Really? Yeah, I like, I'd fun riffing with them on top.
But then as soon as I switch to materials, one of those crowds are like, it's not about us. We don't care. Oh, they like the attention. Yeah, they're one of the attention.
Some crowds are just like that, you know. This feels rehearsed. Yeah, I know. Sometimes it feels like that's what they're doing.
I feel it in my head. They're like, they can tell I've said this before. Oh, I definitely do that sometimes. Yeah.
It's like, what are you doing? Yeah. But, you know, I don't think I've said it, but they're just like, oh, no, he was leading. Oh, like, almost like you're doing, you're riffing with them, and then you go into material and they're like, well, you tricked us.
Well, yeah, yeah. It's like they're starting to hit like a magician who's like, ah, and then you see a little bit of the card and their sleeve contraption. You're like, wait, what's that thing? Yeah, wait.
Oh, hey, I thought he just had bicycle themed cufflinks. That's a card. I just saw the trick. Yeah.
Yeah, it does feel like that. Do you ever feel like sometimes that you say it, you'll say a joke in a way where it'll seem like it's contrived and not like loose and you'll catch it yourself? Yeah. I hate that.
Yeah, I don't like that. I never like feeling contrived on stage ever. And sometimes I'll like say something and I'm like, oh, I gotta set that slightly differently or whatever. Yeah, for sure.
And I just want to feel fresh for every audience, you know. I mean, I think every comic does, but yeah. I like the idea of like it being like, this is one, this is a show that like you can do the shows and do the same material you can do, but this shows a once in a lifetime show. Yeah, every show is a unique experience.
Exactly. Yeah, it's the best man. Just like this podcast. Oh, yeah, you need I'll never fart this many times on the other podcast.
Do you mean that? Yeah, of course. I would never just say that. That means a lot to me, man.
Oh, fartily. I mean it. Big fart. Big fart.
Why? No. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Oh, whole heart, whole heart. heartily. Whole fartily. Oh, whole fartily.
Oh, you can do it. It's fucking sweet, it's fucking sweet. I can see it. It's fucking sweet.
Okay. So Florida. Yes. How different is the comedy scene in Florida compared to Los Angeles?
Well, when I started doing it, it was very limited. You know, not that many places to perform. So you knew like I got to get out that way. Yeah, I kind of feel like I was performing it like a couple of clubs out there and one in Tampa called side splitters which I've heard of that.
Yeah, it's a fun club. You know, it's a fun club. They have that one. They have the improv.
But and that club was fun to perform at but I also was just kind of was like I just need to see what else I can do with Yeah, you know, like and I honestly didn't know if I was funny or not. I was just like I just want to you know Kind of see what I can do with this and yeah, I just started doing it and I realized the opportunity I had I was like Oh, you can you know do so many more mics and so many more places hit spots in a bigger city like Los Angeles compared to Tampa Which now Tampa kind of is booming a bit where you can do spots almost every night at coffee shops or you know Yeah, any place around there's not seen this kind of developing a form. Yeah, they have their own little knit close knit Kim group of communities they use and And uh, sorry if you do it three times. It's good luck I thought and I wanted to do another one, but then I wait you should sit.
Okay, that was really nice. It's okay I'm sorry. I think we're getting a phone call right now. Oh Hello, is this Sondro's mother calling it right now?
Sandra No, mama, I was a No, I wasn't The reach of the show's unbelievable. I don't know exactly I just saw it on the color ID so no No, I wasn't talking about your back at all. No, I don't understand it I'm not talking about your back. Listen, can we please discuss this later?
I don't want to She's my mother has a very like I can't hear you right now. No, but I'm sorry I didn't burp it was there was just air just there it was just there. Okay, I love you, baby Okay, I love you mama. Thank you.
Ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao ciao. She was very easy to back down as soon as you said It was like she was like okay with it She has a very very rigid belief system and once she understands that is something that is just purely mechanical Mm-hmm and there was nothing malicious behind it or anything meant to grab attention. She's fine with it Okay, very very, you know mechanical and tactile. Yeah, yeah, very very very sweet woman.
I can't believe Yeah, you never know who's gonna call it on the show. It's unbelievable I mean, I mean you see the color idea right there I mean it's it's amazing like sometimes the names come across and light up. I'm just like wow I think it's gonna pop up anyway Well, I kind of wanted to Oh That somebody somebody's actually a producer I think so Did you want to say you're using the phone from over there? I mean you could have just walked on screen What is it here?
I'll patch in well, okay? So in the back of the room remember when I asked you if we could have grand great Cresums in the back of the area here. Yeah, well, can we have craziness back in the area? Yeah, this is not worthy of a phone call on the show right now.
Why are you calling in? This would be the easiest way to patch it in well. Yeah, you patch yourself in but now you're on the show Can you can you is this something we can discuss after the show? Okay, all right, thank you.
Let me just did you have anything else? I mean we if you had something else there's a little more pressing maybe we could talk about that But I've got some draw Yoko on on here And I've got him for a very limited time. He's a busy guy We switch from the bounty role to I think it was like an Ajax brand. They're gonna knock off brand And it's not maven of anything you're calling about the paper towels and our soap right now If there's something else that you need to talk about that's pressing other than the crafty and the supplies that we have on set Why would you do that?
Well, I like you Meara good boss, but thanks. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, man. I just making up shit I'm a little lost for words.
Do you I'm sorry me to be sorry? I can't believe I can't believe Riggs be calling like this Riggs be is you I can see you. Oh Put your dick away Riggs be I will I will claim a me too faster than know to make your head spin It's not allowed these days, man. I don't think that's funny Come on Balls back in your shorts Honestly, I didn't even and all of a sudden I realized but You know, I said we can still hear you dude, okay That's okay, sorry, I apologize.
I'm gonna have my producer bring your mom into the conversation and then just you know wanting supplies So no, that's fine. I get I mean here's a thing when you work on these kind of thing You know, he's gonna projects He might not have time to talk to you another time and he felt like this was his one shot Yeah, which was not it was not it was not as one shot. Yeah, he's okay. It's okay Okay, we'll catch you in the comedy man.
Okay What got you in comedy because like this this ship is is all off right now Yeah, I wanted to do comedy, you know as always a little kid I Everybody that I knew died very very young everybody I knew died doing comedy Yeah, I wanted to follow one of the father footsteps. I also didn't know any other way to go You know, I just looked at their footsteps and I was like how can I die? How can I die while I'm still alive? Oh comedy?
Yeah, yeah, I die every day a die a little bit inside every every day Yeah, but also be alive at the same time. Okay. Can I is it possible for me to paint on confidence and then and then have it Sweat off my body as do I leave the age every time is it possible for you know somewhere between like, you know The place between heaven and hell, you know, so to live in that that gray area, but on a stage. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh my god comedy Oh, okay. Yeah, that's the best place in the world. Oh, yeah, cool Do you want to be happy with yourself and feel good and then immediately walk off stage going was I too open was I being too Was I revealing too much about myself?
What did I say? But yet? I'm not revealing anything to the people who I love And I'm close to Back after Back with a Grim Reaper live on Jeremiah wonders and Graham. How are you doing today?
Now Graham they call it Death Valley is because of the heaters because the Grim Reaper lives there. What is that? Well, there's every peak to every valley and that's why you're on the show today Now grim what's going on with you on the inside? How have you been feeling lately?
Now did you die is it true I heard this did you die from sickle cell anemia? I You just heard it from I it's the word on the street You caught it now that's a bug that you can't replace we'll be right after back after shit Be right after tonight. I kind of fits. It's nice for family.
No, it's great. I'm here song. It's not It's nice because it's a day's night and it's near the tears of that man out of this scans guns Sonder and I mentioned on the Santino episode, but So whenever before I played the sax on there we did two interviews with Santino where one of them Sonder and I were not miked at all We didn't have a lot of lyrics on so you couldn't hear anything that we're doing So while Santino is plugging the shows and being interviewed by this anchor person Sonder and I are are are slowly like caressing each other and Holding hands and it just keeps getting more and more Homerotic as the interview goes on and we're actually cuddling while standing pretty much next to you And like I said, but also a camera pan yeah like this is like this is just what we do and I was funny one of the door guys at the laugh Actories like I saw your Interviewer day on the press it was a little bothersome Something like that Unsettling I think He was when I walk by him he didn't say anything to me he's like oh yeah, hey, how are you but then again like you mentioned like he doesn't really Know me yeah, so he might just think that that's you yeah He was kind of fishing to be like what's why was Jeremiah doing that because yeah? That was weird a Show what's going on with that guy?
Yeah, why is he oh you know really today? He bumped into my hand? He won't hold it it's like no man. I'm not you know, but also when you're on the high five earlier in it We just yeah, just slid down slowly Yeah, that's a great way to mess this only like that's a high five.
Yeah great game. Oh dude. You have to do that That's beautiful and then you have it like this right here like you do on this side and just like this Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, everything super mainly the pat is always like Like to do like burly guys wrestling Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you guys just make it out and then just be like yeah, all right. I'll see you later Yeah, because this is the two is good game.
Yeah good game. It's like do to all right. Oh my god You're good to go. Yeah, we're good everything we did before that was totally in jester of guys who are not I'm not come out yet.
We're not comfortable with that yet and they like have gay sex and then they're like all right All right, well, um the reports will do on Monday. Yeah, you know work at 9am. Yeah, that was adequate bing bing bing bing See you later. Yeah, yeah, I'll make business transaction.
It's much as follow up like a pat in the handshake Everything's fine. He was caressing my inner thigh with his beard. Yeah, but he patted me on the back twice afterwards I think it's okay. Oh, no, you're fine.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, cool, right? Yeah, 100% I shouldn't call No, I should go corporate on that should I well did you ask for it with my eyes? I did oh, okay?
Yeah, it's valid. Okay. Yeah, you're liable so I wouldn't call because then they would find you. Oh, yeah Yeah, that's something I don't want to get involved in.
Yeah, okay. No, take spats. No, Pat's back. That's what I said Pat's pack two pets.
Yeah, you're fine. Yeah, you're good to go. Yeah Two pets. I heard you got killed two past killed.
Oh my god. Really? Yeah two pets. Oh, I'm thinking of someone else No, you're thinking of oh no, but he was he used to smoke two pads a day.
Absolutely. He was down a two-pat today Right, but he used to be a four-pat today. I only went down to two-pat. Yeah.
Yeah, hopefully he'll be on the patch after that Yeah, he's got the pads on then yeah, yeah, you don't want to pass on the pads. It's like somebody offers you the pads You don't all pat I want to start doing this thing where when somebody asks me if I have any gum I just start giving them like menthol gum Oh man, it's a nigga right gum right? I'm like this like You ask for gum. Yeah, yeah, this really thing.
I asked this guy for gum ones and now I smoke a pack a day Yeah, huh? What are you talking about? Never ask me for gum. It's like you're Yeah, it's like they're all about the lesson.
Yeah, never ask me for a kid. I know you're seven I need to ask for some gum, but guess what? It's not a free gum kind of life. There's no fussing is free gum Take that with your free lunch.
So um, how long you been doing comedy? Around just over 10 years that's gonna feel good. It feels good to Ten is a great number, right, you know, it's just a solid number. It's a solid number.
That's like I'm in it. Mm-hmm. I'm not going anywhere That's a good. You know, I mean oh, yeah, definitely I'm here I'm here.
I'm here. I have fear. I'm here. I have fear Which isn't queer to have fear right and I probably need a pap smear pass mirror.
Yes Which was like I called my father before we said call him Pappy and then you see a Happy smear Pappy smear because he the way he buttered a bagel you wouldn't believe like I just I think Pappy's mirror is actually calling into the show. It's nice. We're calling it a show. Hello.
Pappy. Hello. It's just Can you speak a little bit more into the phone receiver sir? Yeah, yes better.
Okay. Um, yeah, I was just This is tap this is this tap now is you uh, pap um hello. It's a spap. Yeah.
Yeah, you're you're on Jeremiah Winter's you're alive right now we're alive Well, I was one I was one of the question Hello, pap smear you're you're on the show. There's their question just get right to it We had it we used to make the bagels back in the day and we would smear them with just I'm a big fan of the bagel. Do you prefer almost like a Buttercream or just like a bagel that has Papp papp. This is Sondro papp.
Can you translate a little bit Sondro? I'm not really getting like he's talking about bagels and stuff if he has a valid question He's welcome on the show, but we've got him before I know that you're you have a very strict schedule today And we don't have you for very long. I appreciate you. You know, thanks for being I appreciate you being so you know flexible with that as well and but okay, so papp listen if you have a Absolutely, do I just okay, so remember when we were you a baby and we would buddy with the cream cheese and start strawberry now I don't have oh, I know what he's okay.
Okay. You're talking about the lactose. Yeah, I'm sorry These are the people that call in to talk to me are dumb. They're almost unintelligible.
I don't understand it's like a Okay, well main question is that if I'm lactose intolerant is it okay to have yogurt based products? Okay, but that's a valid question. That's a valid question took you a long time to get there, but um I mean, I don't I would discourage you from if you're lactose dollar I probably wouldn't yogurt unless you get a lactose free yogurt Which I think that exists Yeah, and then also kind of feel like it defeats the point of having yogurt because the bacteria in it is supposed to help cultivate You know digestive enzymes. Yeah, what a weird question Has anybody ever punched your pap in the face before I don't think so I think maybe you need to give me a dress I think that was a waste of my time, dude.
I'm gonna have I'm gonna send you my address. He's gonna come punch you I'm gonna I've never punch an old man in the face before but I'm gonna freakin do it today. Okay, dude No, you want to know you're ready to just get it going now, huh? Okay, why would you ask me you understand you're calling the show is what I appreciate hearing from you, but why would I know?
Okay, I love you buddy Hello, hey, man. I'm coming for you, dude. Pat get ready. Let it happen It's it's interesting me.
He's a very meek man, but as soon as I threatened him. He was it was on yeah Yeah, I'm ready fight. Yeah, for weirdo. I apologize, man.
I'm sorry about that So far you're you've had a couple family members calling the show. Yeah, I Love hearing from them, but they didn't add anything to it I mean I feel very embarrassed and they were kind of hostile and I don't understand a little bit hustle Why they were you barely understand what the hell they were saying all right? Well, I'm gonna let's get into this next segment. Okay, sure It's called fanning out okay I Great one at Alice underscore Rose.
What nervous habits did you have when you first started doing stand-up? That's a great question. That's a fantastic question I would tell a punchline and then I'd look straight at my feet I Would wrap the mic chord in my hands. I would either pace way too much or I would not move at all Yeah, it was like either one or the other but mainly I was like always I really didn't make eye contact with anyone I just kind of would tell the punchline I'd go ahead and then look down as I like Yeah, exactly there was no follow through it's like a baseball, you know baseball hitter just like lifting his head and then he doesn't you know full swing I Probably the the worst habit that I that I had on certain jokes as I would I still do a lot of big act outs But I do these really I used to have a ton of long extended act outs which I've narrowed down to the select ones that actually need to keep them Yeah, yeah, and fun though man.
They're fun But I'm talking about like the old days whenever I would do really long like yeah The one where it was the the op the what happens when you're when you're younger and each sugar as opposed to when you're older Oh, yeah, dude that one I remember watching with the improv do that one and it was like six minutes of you doing the entire But it was hilarious because you just you just committed to it so hard. It's about a two or three minute bit Oh my god, I've narrowed it down to two or three minutes. So what I would do is uh, I love that bit that eating cake Yeah, yeah, so good. I would uh, I would do this thing where I would do something like that But let's say it didn't get a good response.
I would lose it on the audience. I'd be so like hurt I'm like I just do you see what I just did right? Yeah, yeah, it was kind of like the whole like are you not entertained? Yeah, give me something.
Yeah, I was up to sweating for it's like a surgeon was just like that I just replaced that heart You don't want to shake my hand. No, come on So that was anyway, that was a bad happy a bad happy cat. Would you feel like it? But I mean it makes sense as the passion behind it, you know, yeah, but I just learned later.
It's like work on the tag Rather than like if you're not happy with the very ending It's like you're doing something that's not eliciting the correct response Do you feel like do you feel like that also like you were like super super physical? I always feel like if you You also like elongate your career elongate your career even more by not you know like because you're you're fantastic at like using your body But also like the tear you know the wear and tear on it. Yeah, there's there's definitely I definitely don't I don't do as many Pratfalls anymore. I still got some jokes, but I used to do it Dude, I mean I heard my hips over the fact that I broke my arm skateboarding with such a bummer I was just like what the frick but that was a little bit of a reality check But I have done so many pratfalls over the years and never gotten hurt So that's what was like upsetting about that whole thing, but yeah, I mean you're different You know, you know, yeah, pipe versus a yeah carpeted stage carpeted stage.
Let's see adrenaline stage It feels like you know your body's a little bit more ready to brace it or whatever Yeah, you know the dimensions of the stage you're familiar with it. You've you've done the jokes before whatever So yeah, I think of it my comment has gotten a little bit more of a controlled chaos over the years It's a chaotic at time, but it's more it's dialed in now rather than like sometimes I just throw my body around and I would break things Because it wasn't dialed in enough. I didn't know where I was gonna end up That's that's the difference between it being like a prepared act and you just being reckless on stage. Oh, yeah Yeah, okay, I see that I mean like versus like I know exactly every time I do this joke I'm gonna fall this way versus like I'm just gonna fall wherever yeah, yeah I might not drink so over and I might rip curtains.
Oh, yeah Just having an idea of like what you what you're gonna do and where you're gonna do it Then you can very you can have variations from that. Yeah as long as you have something to do I love the controlled chaos That's what I when I when I feel that that's when I have the most fun Oh, yeah, because then it's just like oh you think that it thinks you're going awry or whatever. It's all got everything in the palm Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm you're directing it to go in one way and it is and then you're kind of just doing this Yeah, it's feeding some bits in here. Yeah smacking it from both sides.
No, I get it in there You're more efficient you realize oh I can just move I can just do this yeah You don't have to even move your body, you know and the next thing you know after all you're just looking with your eyes I can for it. Yeah, and then before that after you're not even talking not even there No, and then after that you're not even on stage, right? That's the goal and then yeah, and then that's the goal is to be home and to be in a home to be in a home You know staring you know well ironically the movie awakenings is being played on TV that you can't see yeah, so I love comedy It's so fun. It's so much fun.
It's a mind problem Chris Chris angel. Oh, you know what I see dude Chris angel. We're in Vegas right now I think Chris angels calling into the show. Oh my goodness Chris Is this on your go on?
Chris angel. Yeah, this is Sondro. I came to one of your guys shows that the lot Vegas left factory the other night Nice, which shows you come to the 1030 show. Okay, that was a good show.
Oh did I oh? Oh, oh, which one did I go to I don't know I'm asking you. Did you feel a presence at any of those shows? They were good good shows.
I don't mean we need a presence like did you feel a presence of magic every night of mine freak I'm still on the line. Did you like the show? It was great. Oh good good.
I like your act a lot. Thanks, man I'm a big fan of yours. I like your wood play you like my wood play your wood play. Oh, wow.
I haven't I'm sorry I've got a little bit of a speech thing. Oh, oh Hey, can I shoot if you don't have any secrets of the trade? Oh, okay, well then but you can have me anything else okay? So really you don't want to have Chris angel mind freak anything I have so many questions, but there's usually of like a levitation or the fact I feel a levitation.
Okay. Yeah, sure. Okay, so when you what do you want to know? Alright, so let's say you levitate someone I freak yes, so you levitate them.
Do you how do you do it magic? Oh? I don't know if you can just alright One more question and maybe you can get a little more detail you got it. Okay.
I think about another trick how I do it Okay, so you remember that trick where you levitated yourself. Yes, how did you do that? Magic I know it's magic. That's what you do is magic.
What did you do magic or illusions? Stuff why do you still have that list? Would you want to make that disappear? That's a very sensitive subject and I don't appreciate you bring that up on the show I'm a guest of the calling I was a fan of yours before you made that I think I'm gonna mind freak my way out of here How do you mind freak your way out of here?
It's more of a dance move. I slowly just shimmy shoulders. Okay, it's kind of leave But you're on a phone. Why would you do that?
You could just hang up the phone? Confusing on purpose I guess he's not on the phone we just lost him. Alright, well that was cool I mean I like talking to him all time. Oh my god.
He's hard. We cannot let you go. No, sorry Thank you Chris with two S's and no H man. That's a heavy heavy.
I'm surprised he couldn't get his speech impediment to disappear Yeah, that's I mean I felt bad asking but like come on magic. That's such a cop-out. Yeah, which David Copperfield That's how he used to get out of things but copying out dude. I just watched David Blaine on James Gordon and he was swallowing like pins and He was swallowing magic now.
I'm not yeah. I didn't like it. I was like I watched it because I was in the hotel room Sure, sure. I was like there's nothing there.
I was in the house of watching the star wars episode one Oh, yeah, I watched that too. Yeah, I didn't I was just curious. I watched the Darth Maul fight scene I was like this still doubt this part still holds up Darth Maul was such a cool dude He's one of the best whenever they eluded that he was gonna be in the the next whatever star wars that they're making the he's gonna Be in the next one well. He was at the end of one of the other star wars.
Yeah He had the best weapon of all time. He also didn't say shit. He just did his thing Yeah, he actually spoke at the end of that. Oh, oh Do these kids all right one more question and then we'll get in a sex talk.
Oh, yeah This is from at spoo on Twitter. What pushes his butt ends dot-dot buttons? Um, I mean that prefers to one of your bits I think I did yeah, it is one of my my bits about living in that's pretty cool by the way Shout out for the shout out at spoo at spoo. Mm-hmm.
We'll spoo what pushes my buttons is People that you know don't take no for an answer or people to take yes for too many answers or people They're just confusing so you have hated this podcast then. Yeah Because we have been the most confusing most random I love it people But that's what I love about you every time I see you The riffs that we have sometimes they make sense and then other times they don't but then they live in this place of they don't need to make sense Yeah, yeah, they live in this place of like we meant to do that. Mm-hmm. Sure.
Yeah of confidence or of just not knowing when to go You know, maybe we should pull the plug on this thing. How about we just have a conversation? I'm like, no, I'm good. Yeah.
Yeah, so what did you learn about San Dro on your episode of Jeremiah wonders? Not much really We ripped a lot, but you know like every episode's different, you know every episode's different You know lives in its own vacuum or not to say that it sucks But you know I live my own vacuum and I suck all right well, let's get into this final segment of the show Saks talk Oh, yeah, Sondra is gonna share a story of any sexual encounter. He said I'm gonna play some sweet sweet saxophone underneath while he tells it I met a beautiful woman one time it was on my space days when my space was happening and she liked my writing and she said Hey, I'd like to do something with you and we you know hooked up together and we wrote something We wrote just a little you know little something together just something saucy something, you know But mainly she wanted to get together just make out so we hooked up went back to her place and got a little bit drunk drunk a little bit had a few drinks and She had a lot of angel cherubs all over her apartment So many different angel cherubs And I loved her and so we got a little bit you know some some drinks on us and she started saying things to me like I'm not religious, but I feel like that if God can put an orgasm in my body then I should be able to let it out And I think I fed myself Yeah, that sounds good. That sounds good And so we started making out and she started saying really weird things to me like well She was on top of me and she was This can I be graphic about this it?
And so she was on top of me and she's bouncing on my penis Really just going to town so much so that I wondered if she would ever come back from town Getting late she looks over washes on top of me and she says to me. Oh my god I can smell my own cum and the first thing I did was look over to my right on the other side of her bed And I saw all these angels staring at me cherubs from the wall And I wondered well She was very she's very confused person and I wonder why she said anything about the God the angel thing and then oh my god It's my own cum and then I'm starting to get turned on a little more by it She looks over at the alarm clock on her bed and says oh my god. I need to get to sleep So she gets up gets in bed and goes to sleep and that was it she didn't I didn't I didn't finish But she fell asleep and I got up and I ate everything in her refrigerator So I did get to finish Get women who have their own condos and their own food. That's the best She didn't let you she just got up.
She says oh my god, and then again. Oh my god I got to get the bed like so selfish just like I'm done. See you later And I've never had anybody say so so graphically I can smell myself all over you my cum is okay So I mean she's you know I was younger. She was younger, you know, she was like in her 20s I was late 20s, but it was just weird.
That's such a gross statement. Yeah, I can smell myself all over you Yeah, I know like what we're having like I get I get it at the same time you're like have some decency to you know Make this somewhat sexy. Yeah, then she tried to I think she was I think she felt bad about wanting to have sex and not really knowing me You know and then she was trying to like say she was religious But everything that came out of her mouth was just healthy if God can put an orgasm in my body I'm like he's not sanctioning this language right? I don't think I don't know what I don't think I have the right to use good I think this is a definition of a character here.
Don Maraire has the best bit about that with the Black guys like def jam comics who would say the filthy stuff and then it's like God bless you So good that reminded me of that yeah, yeah, it's a very very confusing thing That's such a weird dichotomy just like talking about God like that is like he wants like he wants me to Yeah, yeah, just just either say that you want to do it or don't yeah I don't think it's a very nice because it's like that's your your opinion that God where where does it say this anywhere that anyone's ever read Yeah, what what what scripture like what verse in the Bible is leading you to say this gross stuff and also I feel myself I can smell myself all over you. Yeah, just yeah be that person. I've been fine if she's just eating cigarettes I smell myself all over you Sandra dude She was bizarre it was really bizarre one time because I saw her after that because I'm an idiot I didn't learn one time she came back for a second She says she asked me we were going to sleep because I was like alright I'm not gonna you know I'll play it cool. She asked me and she goes would you mind fingering me for three minutes?
I swear for three minutes Yeah, let me go boil an egg Well, I go wash my hands all right. Yeah, what a dude can you finger me for three minutes is so funny? Mmm for three minutes an exact time. Yeah, it didn't make any sense whatsoever.
I remember like after three minutes. Yeah What what Bible is she reading? In a reading from mark to John once thou fingers are in thus body Anyway, anyway, I can't even complete this sentence. It's pretty gross.
Yeah, but you get you get the picture Yeah, she's not a nice person did you did the second time she didn't let you finish? Did you go back to her fridge again? Well the second time she did I actually I did and then you're okay, so I know my Yeah, I when I finished in the salad crisper Well the second time I went over I find myself somebody's using it for the purpose of what I mean who uses that I'm in the present. The only place you can come blow out is in the ground.
Yeah, she's terrible nice person afterwards But you know she's young we're both young stupid one time I went over and I had to finish myself and right as I was about to She draped a very thick terry cloth towel over me negating My orgasm just it was she was a very strange very strange. She was weird about her bed like you know I mean like yeah, she's like very selfish she puts down like the painters It's a Dexter scene What are you expecting? I'm gonna come out of me. Yeah, we can't be too careful There's a crime scene investigation team coming over really soon We gotta wrap everything up and burn all of the sheets.
All right. Let's make a love do you take this mission? Yeah, do you take this mission? That's when you want to call yourself.
I'll take you. Yeah, do you take this missionary? Yes? Yes, I do well, so under it's been a blast.
I'm young buddy. Do you want to plug anything for you? I'm going to be in Mohican Sun August 22nd to 26th great with Andrew Santino, whoo and then I'll be at the Back in Los Angeles the county store has a little paid regular. Yeah, we gotta bring each other up a lot Yeah, so much fun dude.
There's really friends like this. Oh man. It's incredible. Yeah, it's cool Especially since we got that lay around the same time and we got past like I got past a little bit after Sondra's like It's just so cool.
It's like like such a close-knit community that it's so great Yeah, to be able to continue to do with your friends and to be able to work together man It's like every time where I see our names on those line I'm just like this is such a cool thing to be a part of unbelievable I honestly this parts to me where I still like and usually those parts in my brain and my my mouth that are thinking and saying I can't believe that I get to do this and I get to be on this line up with like these people that I respect and friends and just you know Like in the comedy world there's so many like when you're heroes You really really you worship them in a sense Yeah, because of what they do and you're not of you know They're thought process and the ability to say whatever they want to say it's so much fun And I could fanboy out all day and I'm probably well We'll follow San Dro on social media at San Dro not Sandra. Yep. Yep. Thank you man.
Dude. Thank you so much for having me Yeah, let's go hug each other for a while. All right, all right It's like it. Yeah, all right.
You know what I don't know. Talk to me again. Okay
