Party people! Man, you knew it was going to be a good song in the 90s, whenever it started off like that. Just getting that party started right away. What up, y'all?

How you doing, huh? How you feeling? You good? Fantastic.

What's up? It's your boy, Jeremiah Watkins. You're listening to Jeremiah Wonders, and guess what? I'm recording this intro in Kansas right now.

What? Yeah, that's what's up. That's right. I'm in Kansas right now, I went back home to visit my family over the weekend for a family reunion slash.

My grandma's 90th birthday rager. Hopefully you've been following me on Instagram and checking out the Instagram stories because some of them are just plain priceless. Can't create, can't write any of this stuff. Some of it just happened.

Like, you know, how we all joined in singing Amazing Grace Together at the family reunion, just some good Midwestern wholesome values kicking it for ya. Yeah. So I've been having a great weekend. Got to eat my mom's cooking.

So anytime I get to do that, anytime I get to see my family, it's a good time. She made her cheese dip, her pizza boats, her freaking bacon, broccoli casserole. Oh my goodness. Don't even get me started.

Your boy is getting weight right now. But it feels good. Mm-hmm. I want to say thank you to people who came out to see Reagan Watkins headline hunting in beach at the rec room earlier in the week on Wednesday with Joel Jimenez and Malcolm Hatchet featuring.

Man, that was a fun show. And if you're not watching Kiel Tony right now or listening to it, get on it. We are doing some fun special things with the different characters that we're doing every week and just the show in general. The guests, Tony's been killing it right then.

The whole crew is a fun, amazing ensemble project that's been going on. I think that's going to be one of the shows you look back on. The catalog of episodes you can be like, how did they get all these guests over the years? That's pretty fantastic.

So yeah, I want to give a shout out to the sponsors, Loyal OG, Cool Sponsors Show at Speedweed on Twitter. Hit up Geno for your marijuana, delivery names, baby. Do you like country like smoking at gum, gum, that bitch, bitch, oh yeah you do. Hit up Geno at Speedweed.

Get it done. Get that green if you know what I mean. And we have a new sponsor this week, ComiWam.com. Guess what guys, I was talking about how I needed a printer last week with Fajim and ComiWam.com sent me a new laser printer.

Thank you so much. I want to give them a shout out, give them some proper info so you can check them out. Go to ComiWam.com. They're based out of Austin, Texas and they feature local and touring comics and they cover all the major comedy festivals like Moon Tower every spring and they do podcast interviews and articles.

It's from Up and Coming to Big Names and they've talked over a hundred comics. So maybe you got a favorite comic, maybe it's your boy Darren Ma Watkins. They've interviewed me a couple times now. Go to their site, pull the podcast interview and the write up if you search for it.

And then they just delve into a comic background and motivations and explore universal themes of chasing your dreams. How cool is that? ComiWam.com, follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, rate and review them on iTunes. Shout out to Valerie Lopez.

She's also super meowy on Instagram and she said she found a kindred spirit, Julie Seabaw, Julie was the last episode being a journalist. I thought that was cool. I love introducing people to other cool awesome amazing people and every time I go to Austin, I make sure that I talk to Valerie. She's amazing and she covers the comedy scene really well there and around.

So check that out, ComiWam.com. If you want to sponsor this show, just email your boy, jeremyawakinsat.com. That's why you are boy, jeremyawakinsatgmail.com. And you can also donate at jeremyewinders.com through PayPal or whatever if that's what you want to do.

Every little bit helps guys. I want to keep plugging the kindness challenge guys. Keep that up. I love reading stories.

I haven't gotten any new stories recently so email those as well to your boy, jeremyawakinsatgmail.com. And keep it up. Keep doing those good deeds. That's my challenge to you.

It can be a stranger. It can be somebody that you know. It can be something really tiny. It can be something really big.

It doesn't matter. ComiWam. They kind of challenged me. They sent me a new freaking printer whenever I was a need.

So there you go guys. It keeps coming. Come in. Come in.

Come in. Come in. Come in. I got a piece.

Just popped in my head. The cans have been fun. I get to take a little bit of a break from the road for about a month after some shows coming up so that'll be nice. And then I'm back out on the road for Kill Tony dates and you can check those out.

If you follow Tony Hinchclef, I forgot to hit. He's got a bunch of the tour dates up there. But I'll get through these show tour dates. August 26th.

Reagan and Watkins is headlining Valley Bar in Phoenix. We're bringing Joel Jimenez with us. That's Sunday, August 26th. Get tickets, Phoenix.

We're coming for you one night only. Don't miss this. It's Sunday, August 26th. Then just check out Stan from the spot every second Tuesday of the month.

And then Brian Rosen, I talk quite a bit about Mr. Jimaran Avers. But he and I are actually in a movie that's coming out in select theaters on August 24th called an LA minute and that's starring Gabriel Byrne, Kircie Clemens. Jimaran and I just have a scene in that movie but it is a pretty memorable scene.

I'm a legless mugger and a wheelchair. He's a blind mugger and I'm directing him on where to hit Gabriel Byrne so we can take his wallet and shoes. It's a funny, ridiculous scene. So go check out that movie.

I'll wait for it to come out on DVD. I don't know what helps us more but go see you I guess. I just think it's fun that we gotta say that we're a marnayer in a scene in a movie. It's pretty fun.

And Rose Battle is on right now. My last couple episodes we addressed at with Brian Moses. I want to get into this episode now with Moses. I absolutely love this guy.

He's done so much for the comedy community. What he and Jeff Ross have done with Rose Battle has affected so many comedians including myself and we talk a lot about Rose Battle and Moses has one of the best Saks talks that we've maybe ever had on the show. It's pretty explicit and I'm glad it was because of the last couple of ones that we've had on the show. I got some complaints about Julesie about that she didn't follow Saks talking enough because it wasn't her getting drunk and not actual sexual content.

You know what I mean? Guess what? Moses comes in with your boy and doubles down. It's freaking gross.

It's freaking epic. And you're going to love it or be really grossed out. Without further ado, I want to introduce you. If you don't know he's the referee of Rose Battle.

He hosts it with Jeff Ross. Check it out on Comedy Central. One of my favorite people in the world. My friend.

And soon to be yours. Brian Moses on Jeremiah Wonders. No green screen. All in house.

Ooh. That's actually right behind us right now. It's not in post. You said in house.

I was like, oh the in word. I always go to that first. Like I was going to say the in house. Oh the house.

Did you more here? I love the in house. Welcome to the show. The all in house.

The all in house. What's going on man? I feel good. You're my first time in your new home.

I know. You haven't been to my place since the porch. No, I love the porch. That place was so dangerous looking.

Dude it was. It was like a trap house. Dude literally if you go back out on the street they've cleared all of those places because they were like trap houses. They really were.

Yeah, they really were. I mean they looked the part. Yeah. Anytime you put in your own bar bar fence.

Those were yours? No. That's awesome. Somebody like the owners of those houses put in their own bar bar fences and stuff like that because they were worried about people stealing stuff out of their house.

You know, drug money and stuff. Yeah. All of them down there. What was that?

Nulvers Boulevard? Cawingas. Santa Monica and Cawingas. Ooh.

Yeah. Nasty. Right across from that park. Yeah.

You know one basketball court park dude. Yeah. Shot some good movies. Yeah.

That's like an arts district. It's like a theater district. Yeah. That theater row.

I used to do stand up on the spot there. That was one of the places we did it by the day. Really? Yeah.

At the new pack theater? Yeah. Yeah. That was one of the spots.

The little modern is what that place used to be called. Oh the modern was dope. Yeah. And then Rant LA was one of the places.

Okay. I think you probably did stand up on one of those places. No, I did it at the lab. I did it at the lab.

That's when I was really mean to Mrs. Watkins. The new Mrs. Watkins.

You were mean there? That was weird to her. What'd you say? I don't remember that.

I was just like, oh my God. It was bad though. I literally have no recollection of this at all. I can't imagine you being weird or bad to somebody.

Oh come on. I've been weird. Oh maybe weird but not bad to anybody. You're a nice guy.

For hosting a show like Rose Battle you're a very, very kind person. Thank you. Well I'll get to your my wonders. I'm Brian Moses.

I'm your my own audience. Yes. And we're sitting down with the nicest creator of a mean show. I love it.

I learned something every week on that show. There's so many things. It's such an improv show. It really is.

I think I told you this. I was like, you know if we were at UCB or Second City, it'd be a more revered show. I think that it would have already been like, I don't know, we have a lot of amazing celebrities that come by. Right.

But it's more of like a rock and roll vibe than like an arts vibe. Which is like if we did it at UCB or something, I think that there'd be like Second City alums and all the people coming out to be like, I would like to be a part of this. Exactly. Yeah.

I just heard some times. But you know we'll settle for John Mayer and Chappelle and Two Short and stuff like that. That's cool. You know it's like Hugh Dachmin, it's all good.

We'll take those. Hugh Dachmin, that's pretty artsy. That's pretty artsy guys. I dug that.

I think my favorite part of the improv trip, the improv trip, the wave is that you guys just like kill people. We've killed people. You've literally killed people. I remember Big Black from Robin Big.

Oh, you're being literally. He literally was there a week before and he died. I remember the first time coach played Prince. He died a week later.

Yeah, it's happened a couple of times where like Jim Carrey brought his girlfriend there. She died a few months later. Yikes. Man, Mo's getting real in his pockets.

Do you mind wondering what Mo's is saying? The wave kills people. Literally. Literally.

No, that was weird. I got hit up by TMZ actually after Big Black died because his last photo on Instagram was with the wave. It was weird. They were like, how close were you with?

I was like, we just met him at 90. I can't make a statement. I don't feel comfortable. I didn't know him like that.

I'll let his family and his friends. But you're Rob Deardak. You're like, Tim's a kind of different white guy with a snapback on. Can you believe it?

I'm way worse at skateboarding. I'll tell you a season of Ridiculousness and Rob. Okay, so we're going to have an even bigger green screen. Yeah.

Oh my God. Clip shows. That was fun though, man. There's been some people who jumped in the wave to the title of the creator.

That was fun. Yeah. Who else has been like kind of memorable? Dude, Tommy Davidson.

Oh, yeah. That was unbelievable. I thought right away, I don't think he'd ever seen Rose Battle. He started scanning the room and was kind of like, what are those guys doing?

Because that's his thing. It's fun. He just scouted everything. He jumped in and we freaked out.

What'd you guys do exactly? Like freaked out how'd you mind? Oh, man. We turned up.

Okay. Okay. Yeah, yeah. We just started, I forget what the joke was, but all of us went up there with Tommy Davidson and just started acting out just dumb stuff.

Yeah. Bobby Lee. Yeah. Bobby Lee.

Yeah. Because he surprised everybody? Yeah. He's getting naked or something.

No, we lifted him up and carried him and he did a couple of things with us. He was sitting and crouching near the stage. I'm like, don't let anybody see you. I'm like, I know.

I know show business. He's like, you don't have to tell me how to, I'm like, okay, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Yeah, crouch tiger. Yeah, I drag him.

Yeah. So then he joined us. That was, that's fun. I didn't get naked.

He gets naked a lot. Yeah. I get like his thing. And they're stereotypes about Asian men and their thing.

But Bobby Lee has a really big penis. Despite, I mean, outside of ethnicity, outside of skin color, outside of race, whatever you want to call it, he's got a really big penis. And don't let him tell you otherwise. I know what exactly says how small his penis is.

It's not true. It's a trick. He's trying to trick you. Bobby Lee has a really big penis.

Dude, he's got a hanger, bro. Yeah. Fight me, Bobby. I want you to fight me on that.

You're ruining my shtick. It's like I've been booked in fucking months. What do you think of the big dick now? People don't want to laugh at a guy with a big dick.

They want a guy they can relate to with an average or a smaller penis. All these women just have sex with me now. Just use me for my dick. Money.

Come on. The worst. Yeah. He would fight me for something like that.

Probably. Yeah. I'm going to go for a long time. I love you long time.

I love you long time. Yeah. All the time. It's going to get such a little bit.

I think that's already heating up a little bit. You know what? It's got that heat outside. I think it's just one bit inside.

Okay. Yeah. Is that how you like it? Yeah.

It's nice. Right there. Wait. You're the right.

You're the left guy. I lean left. I'm going to make the porn talk. Yeah.

You're going to love this podcast by the way. Dude. Just this episode in particular. She hates Rose.

She has a mobile walk. I know. She's like, I hate how mean they are to everybody. He goes, I only like you guys.

I watch. Yeah. I like what you do. She got mad though.

She's only got mad at me for one bit. I remember this bit. Oh yeah. I didn't.

I didn't. I didn't see it as something that was sacrilegious. I thought of it as something that was just silly and physical. And it was.

It was. She didn't like care about me shaving my pubes. She didn't care about me dressing up like women. Right.

I mean, that's just very positive. Thank you. President Lincoln. Yeah.

She didn't care about any of that stuff. But we had a last supper portrait. It's like a big painting. The last supper.

The last supper. It's literally, you know, Jesus disciples around him. Lobster lobster. Yeah.

Red lobster. Chatter biscuits. You know, Jesus love that kind of stuff. Like, Jesus is like a Midwestern Southern like, like, tragic.

And he goes, Hey, this is my last meal. Okay. So we need some freaking red lobster up in here. We need some cheesy biscuits.

I'm going to lead us tonight. Okay. Yeah. We need some endless shrimp.

We need cocktails. Okay. Where can we get this? Scampi was Red lobster a big destination for your family.

Yeah. My dad lures you to shellfish. But I always always saw those. I thought that was like a five star restaurant.

Dude. Yeah. I still think it's a five star restaurant. It is right.

Dude, I just went there. We're from the. We're from the. We're from the.

We're from the. It's so good. It's so good. I don't care if it's considered like, you know, subpar or whatever.

I'm freaking Red lobster for life, bro. Right. Red lobster. Red next year.

It'll be between Red lobster and Olive Garden for special occasions. Really? Yeah. Yeah.

Red lobster. Alright. I never been to Ruby Tuesday. I'm still trying to check that one out.

Ruby Tuesday is good. And that it is a kind of a white trash place, but it's good. Yeah. About cracker barrel.

I've been to cracker barrel. You gotta go cracker barrel. You drew it. Dude, dude.

Dude, dude. I think it's called Herschel's breakfast or something like that. Mm hmm. You can taste the racism.

It's so good. Oh my. It's really. I know that's your thing.

Yeah. I love my favorite. It's so good. Dude, because you can taste the sweat and like the frustration of what it goes into it.

Right. Herschel's. Yeah. It's like sausage, bacon, eggs.

The biscuits are unbelievable there. It's so good. Alright. Could you sing that as Justin Timberlake?

What am I gonna get at Herschel's breakfast? Oh. Gonna get. Gonna get.

Gonna get. Gonna get. Get that. Herschel's breakfast baby.

Oh. Yeah. Oh man. I'm gonna go there.

Taste the racism. Hey. Hey. Hey Moses.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.

Hey. The Red Lofters and the Olive Gardens and stuff aren't in the main metropolis areas of LA. You kind of have to go to the Valley, or you have to kind of go a little bit out. Even the Walmart's.

I used to shop at the Walmart on Crenshaw. There's no Walmart's that are. Yeah. Crenshaw, Panerum City, the one at Los Inga now.

I'm not a Walmart, I'm sorry, that's a target. That's a target. Sorry about that target. I apologize.

Yeah Walmart, I mean, I didn't sell to you. Crenshaw says that there's hot girls over at the target on Los Inga. There are, though. I'm telling you, man, South of the 10 now, take your way here in Los Angeles.

Yeah, if you want to find black girls, there you go. Culver City too, I think. They're ever straight in Culver City. Yeah.

Yeah. Nice. Ow. Ow.

Yeah. I hear a little something. Do you hear a little something? That's crazy, Jeremiah.

Did I can do that with my voice? Yeah. It's like a Steven Soderbergh film. It might be an effect.

You're so talented. I don't have this reverb on my voice at all time. Wow. How do you do that?

It's a scale. You know what this effect is called? No. We will.

We will rock you. Oh my god. I love this. We will.

We will rock you. This is going to be my nightmare. I'm excited for that queen movie that's going out. Which one?

The Freddie Mercury. Which one? Yeah, the Yasqueen movie that's coming out. Oh, I can't wait to see that one.

We need to start a band, boys. The Yasqueen. The Tyler Perry presents. The Tyler Perry presents.

Yasqueen. It's just Tyler Perry doing a black Freddie Mercury. You're not Freddie Mercury. You're not Freddie Mercury.

You're not skinny enough. He just comes like he becomes real. How dare you? I will own you.

I'm Tyler Perry. Dude. I'll be in a Tyler Perry movie for sure. Yeah.

I wouldn't you. I don't know. You'd be like a novice. You'd be great.

Hey man. Tyler Perry. No. We out here.

That's your Jim Carrey right there. His name's Jeremiah Watkins. He's everything. He's David Spade.

He's Rob Schneider. He's Chris Catan. He's Chris Pratt. All the great chrises.

There's Christopher Walken. He's my impression. Yeah. Let's sleep for cameras.

Let's sleep for Mr. Perry. So the thing that I got in trouble for with my mom was a last upper painting. And we just literally it was this thing where I ran up on stage and I put my head through the painting.

It went through. My head went through the painting on the other side and then I spun it like a science spinner and painting to spun around and then I went off stage and my mom thought that that was, you know, too. It is very psychological. Look at it like that.

I looked at it as like a physical gag but then like I get it. I get why you could take that as like you're doing something against, you know, that religious painting or whatever. You're sacking that religion. You're sacking that religion.

You're not sacking that religion. That religion. Yes. You're what people who are like spirituals like, yo, what religion are you meant?

Just trying to shorten that. What religion is that? What kind of religion are you meant? I'm sacking.

What gin are you with man? Ooh, tonic. That's my gin. I don't even drink gin and tonic.

I feel like it's really nasty. You don't drink it all right? No. Guys, welcome back to Jeremiah Wonders.

Welcome back. I'm not Jeremiah but I am wondering with host Jeremiah. Is it, is it, do we got a you host all the time with Rose Battle? Yeah, we got it.

There's no director here. Oh, there's a director. Okay. Yeah, she's a little, she's a little hard to work with.

It's also a mannequin or giraffe. Actually, there's some stuff animals in here. Just the one actually. That is, yeah.

That's the house giraffe. You got to have one. I didn't know that. You got to sit on that thing later before you go.

Okay, I will. It's literally, it's so sturdy. It looks like it's just stuffed. You can freaking ride that thing.

Where did you get that? It's my is. It's like, yeah, it's like she's had us in childhood. Really?

And like we were literally moving like, and that was like outside, like, a moving truck and stuff. This car, like we set it right at something moving truck. They're like, is that giraffe for sale? And we're like, no.

Oh, that's great. People want it. Like it's like, where did you get that? I won.

That's really cool. It's pretty dope. I love that she kept that. There's a house fire.

That's what she'll take with her. You got to get social. And giraffe. Laptop.

No, leave the laptop. Get the trouble. Go. Is it hard for you to be on other people's shows where you're not hosting since you're so used to hosting your own baby after a while?

Or you're just like, oh, it's a relief. It's such a relief. I don't have the weight on me to have to deal with thinking of the next step. Or the next beat.

Yeah, I don't have to stay there. I'll show. Yeah. That's really all.

I mean, hosting is a responsibility on its own because you just have to stay. You have to make it a commitment to literally stay. And I have commitment issues. So it's hard for me to stay anywhere except the one place I want to be in.

That's inside the Rose Battle. Yeah. Damn, right? It's a good place to be inside of.

So I learned so much in that show. It's insane. Every week I learned so much. Dude, I mean, I feel like obviously, you know, we're all friends.

So we see each other perform more than anybody does. Right. But with Rose Battle, I truly feel like the growth that has happened, like you as a comic, is unbelievable. Really?

Yeah. I could tell like such a difference, like just your comfortability. You've always been super chill and cool on stage, but there's a different comfortability that like goes because you've dealt with so many weird situations now. Well, chaos.

There's so much chaos that you've had to deal with over the years. So with your stand up, even it's just like you're just like this Zen like. Interesting. Yeah.

I didn't notice that. I remember at Julie Seaball, you were just talking about asking me that question for the book and she was like, you think it's, has it helped with your stand up? I was like, you know, honestly, like it's hurt because I wasn't, I remember in the beginning of the process of Rose Battle, I wasn't doing a lot of stand up was more just worrying about that show and booking that show and just being, having that show. And I kept saying it was a side project, but then, you know, in reality, it was everything for me.

So yeah, I just thought it hurt my stand up, but to hear that, I really appreciate that. Thank you. Yeah. Well, it's just something that, you know, it's because we watch each other sets from the back of the room all the time.

And I just, like, I've seen you now on the road a lot and in the OR, which is the hardest room. Right. Right. And to see you be able to deal with all like the different situations they're throwing at you is pretty cool.

Yeah. Well, I use well. I remember seeing, I know we talked about some of the time, but that set up the creek in the cave where you just almost like demanded the audience like respect you. And then they didn't.

It was like, they didn't want to come to party. They're just like, Oh, we're Christians and we're now we're at this coke party. We want to be here. Yeah.

I don't know if this I think you need to do a coke tonight. Yo, it's happening. And you made every do coke. Yeah.

There's more of a literal story than a stand up story. I just had everybody do coke. It really like, you really committed that. You know, I didn't even do stand up.

And I was like, yo, look at the coke tonight. This is happening. Everybody was sober. Yeah.

Everybody just have a relapse. I don't even do coke. I'm showing coke. People's noses.

I do. People offer stuff to me all the time. People love giving me. I just have three ounces of cocaine.

Just like, I have to get rid of it. How do I, does anybody want any of this? I'm like the weirdest party favorite guy. I was like, all right, before you go, does anybody want to eat anything?

And he drinks it. I got some more minutes crazy. He's always cooking around. He like, I think he gets off.

And other people do it and stuff in front of him like, yeah, do that coke. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, drink the whole drink.

The whole 40 drink. You already like a drunk. You guys have a nine tails. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah, you like that, don't you? You're a different kind of Christian Gray. We're doing, bros, out there and stuff, we're out there for like New York Comedy Festival or something like that.

And we just showed the Creek and Cave. And it was a very, you know, some L.A. guys were kind of doing their thing, but most of the guys, they were going up for New York Comics. The audience was very New York.
