Raffy mate, Raffy mate, Raffy mate, Raffy mate, Raffy mate, god bless his soul. Raffy would call into radio stations that I was on. They just call it like, Hey man, man, he got some dick, he's a dick slinger. He would just tell these stuff or something.
Brad, Brad, Brad, Brad, Brad, Brad, got down with to his sock neck and excuse me. Fly past fuck, fly past fuck, wait, wait, wait, what? Fly past fuck, fly past, fly past, fly past, fly past fuck. I'll talk about cool whip, some good stuff can happen.
Bchanh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag, nah pannh phag kap, nah pannh phag kap. Fuck you Jesus. We crushed that. Girl take a seat.
Rest your weary bones. You gotta get your kicks where you can. It's an old Brooklyn Bell song. Guys stop coming to my head today for some reason.
I don't know if I've thought about that song in years but it's that one song called. Holding off a life. Holding off a life. Holding off a life.
That's a very like 70s like BG's vibe. I dig it though. What's up everybody? Huh?
How you doing? What's going on with your week huh? What's going on with your day more importantly? How are you feeling right now?
In a good mood? Perfect. We're there already. In a bad mood?
Let's get you over to a good mood. What do you say? Guys my internet has been in and out for last month. So if this episode is released late, I apologize in advance, or maybe it was released on time.
There's no need to apologize. But it's not doing anything on the editing side of things, which I would not be able to be releasing the show on time. Recently without my boy, Gage, thank you bro for the help. And all the listeners of the podcast, thank you.
So go ahead and follow at Gage, T-R-E-N-U on Twitter. That's J-G-E-T-I-J-E-R-I-N-A. He has been doing the audio and video editing for this show. So very much appreciated.
And that mixed that you heard at the very beginning of the show. That's from DJ McCray on Instagram at DJ MC-C-R-A-E. Yeah. Couple of my Texas boys showing love to the show.
Supporting us. Yeah. Thank them. Reach out to them.
Say what's up. How'd it good to be guys? Have you seen the new Reagan and Watkins music video yet? My name is Jeremiah.
If you have, thank you so much. If you shared it, thanks. If you just listened to it and enjoyed it, I appreciate that as well. Spread it around.
Trying to get some more clicks on that YouTube. So, but there's a lot of great Kill Tony cameos in there. And as far as the album goes, we're getting closer to finishing that. I spent another freaking day in the studio up again in Ventura.
Trying to get this thing ready for you guys. My boy, Patty Reagan and I were freaking perfectionist guys. And we want this to be perfect. So we keep chipping away at this big monster project.
So there you go. I was in Toronto this weekend just for laughs. Yeah. I went out there with Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban.
And thank you to everybody who came out and support the stand-up shows and the awesome Kill Tony episode we did. I'm actually really excited for you guys to hear that. I did one of my favorite recent characters in the musical blast all around. Look out for that dropping on iTunes and YouTube very soon.
But something special that I got to experience. I got to watch one of my brothers in comedy, Tony Hinchcliffe opened for Joe Rogan at the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto. And I got to say, it was pretty special. It was, they performed for like, freaking 10,000, 600 people, something around there.
And just as a friend of Tony, I was just like super proud of him. Because he did like 30 minutes in front of an arena. And I was just like kind of standing backstage, like kind of just like in admiration of what Tony and Joe were doing in front of that many people. So it was pretty cool.
They both killed it. I don't know. It was just kind of fun to experience see friends succeeding and doing well and kind of see them take in that much energy. Like over 10,000 people cheering and like all that energy going to you with your stand-up is not a normal thing.
And Joe was talking about that show. He's like, that was so weird. That was so crazy what we just did. But it was awesome.
We went out to dinner with Joe after a show at a restaurant called the Antler. And I got to say, one of the most epic man meals of my life. Yeah. It was kind of exactly the dinner that I envisioned having with Joe.
Because we had just like a bunch of like man stuff, you know. I had this is a step I had. I had narwhal skin, duck heart, goose, bison, venison and seal. Yeah.
I can't make this stuff up. It was pretty amazing. Most of the stuff was some of the stuff was some of the narwhal skin was freaking scary. But he knew the owner of the restaurant so they kept bringing out like all this like, you know, this fancy stuff.
And he even said that, you know, some of it was like not really necessary. Like it was more for the novelty of eating it. Like you don't really need to eat narwhal skin. You know what I mean?
But it was good nonetheless. So thanks to the antler and Toronto freaking amazing meal. And thanks to Jon Tony for letting me hang out and be a fly on the wall of that experience for them. Sponsors the show speed.
We the OG Kush sponsor as speed. We hit up Geno on Twitter dog. Yeah. Do you like that sticky?
Do you like that? Eat a blueberry? That's the yum yum. Do you like or do you like that ditch stuff?
You like that low quality stuff? Well, don't you know if you don't like the hot quality stuff. You're not going to speed beat because they only got that high stuff, that high caliber product. And then also Bronx Born Pizza at Bronx Born Pizza on social media.
What up, Thomas Shiffer in Bend or again, that's where they're based. Or you know what? If you're in the Santa Monica area, he also owns a place called Ray Block Pizza, which they sponsor, the Ovens podcast this past weekend. So check that out.
If you would like to support the show, you can go to JeremiahWonders.com and there's actually a PayPal button there. Or if you want to sponsor the show, email your boy Jeremiah Watkins at gmail.com. Let's get into the kindness challenge. I'm going to try to keep this intro brief as possible.
It's something that I did with my wife this past week. I even shared one of my own personal ones in a little bit. So here we go. This is something super simple.
If you don't know the kind of challenge is every week I challenge you, the listeners and myself to do something nice for a stranger or somebody that you may know. It can be something big as it can be something little as long as you're putting some positivity out in the world and putting it out there to somebody else. So I was celebrating with my wife. It was her birthday earlier in the week.
And we just ordered too much food because we were making a night out of it. We went to this Italian restaurant. So we left with almost an entire box of fresh pizza that was untouched that we were going to take home to eat the next day. But we saw a homeless woman that was literally going through the garbage looking for food.
And I went up to her with the pizza and I offered her the box and she gladly accepted and said, that's very nice for you. And I was very grateful. And it was something really small. But that pizza was like, you know, it was expensive pizza.
It was 18 bucks. And you know how much a boy loves pizza. So you know, it was, I did the right thing. We did the right thing.
I was going back and I'm like, you know what? I'm going to go get that pizza back from that lady. That was good. That was $18 pizza.
I'm going to go back. No, no, it was one of those things where my wife was like, we should do this. And I was like, yeah, you're definitely right. You are an amazing person.
Anyway. That was a very simple kind of challenge thing. We saw somebody that was going through the trash that was trying to just get a meal. It was very sad and you know, wanted to help that lady out.
So do something nice right into the show about it at yourboyjeremyawakins at gmail.com. And I'll possibly feature it on the intro of this podcast. And you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter, at jeremystandupfortorupdates.com. But I want to get into this episode.
You can also email music submissions to yourboyjeremyawakins at gmail.com as well. I love getting those and supporting local artists around the US and giving them a little bit of shine. One more thing. If you haven't submitted a review on iTunes lately or ever, I leave a five star review and leave a little nice review helps your boy out.
Also the ratings of the show climb up the charts and whatnot. Guys, I've been trying to get Brad Williams on the show for a long time and I'm super stoked it happened because he freaking killed it just like I knew he would, you know. And I think you guys are going to dig it. So let's just get right into this episode without further ado.
Please welcome Brad Williams to Jeremiah Wonders. Gotta do that slate. Dude, it's good if freaking have you on the show. Isn't it sad that I've worked in this show business for 14 years and I still don't know what clapping before, like I don't know what that does.
Oh, this slate? Yeah, I know it's called slating. Yeah, yeah, I don't know what the fuck does. Okay.
Let me explain it in about 10 seconds. Okay. So I'm just thinking of the audio on the video later. Yeah.
It's easiest on the waveforms on the timeline whenever you see a big spike. So then you literally line it up right there and it's way easier than kind of trying to search for it. Oh, the search for like if you just started talking like, okay, now we're gonna start right here. Right.
Then you have to like zoom way in and be everyone. All right. All right. All right.
All right. All right. So the people that aren't into nerdy audio are like already out. We're done.
I'm gonna go re-listen to Elon Musk on Rogan. Yeah. Yeah, which, which, which, why why? Like, like, certain TV appearances or whatever.
It's like, sure. Yeah. That makes sense. Like you say something online or somebody makes a tweet maybe.
Yeah. But as far as podcast platforming goes, like I don't, I've never heard of anything like that. Yeah. Which is just the power of podcasting more importantly.
I guess just the power of Rogan. I don't know if we could be like, yeah, it's like all of us. Yeah. No, not really.
I went on a bell last night. I'm not allowed in a little Caesar's anymore. I don't know what's going on. Well, I mean, that's just me.
Right. Yeah. Yeah. Lord knows it's funny now that we're doing this and there's podcasting and YouTube pages and interviews.
If you go through absolutely every single thing that we've ever done and set on any podcast and just isolate that one thing, I'm sure you can find some shit. Of course. All the sound bites out of context. Yeah.
I did together. There's like, oh, this is a, I don't know. I sound very racist. Yeah.
Just like a supercut of everything where you're like, oh, yeah. It's not the best highlight reel. I think that should be on your highlight reel is the fact that right now you have the entertainment tonight theme song in your head and you've been like, as we're setting up to do this podcast of two just incredibly handsome men. You're just like doing the camera and your tinkering and you're doing all this stuff.
I don't know. Is this like some sort of Mary Hart thing? Yeah. I don't know.
Are you looking for celebrity birthdays? Brad literally. What are you doing? Are you humming entertainment tonight?
Yeah. I haven't watched it forever. I don't know why it's in my head. I woke up with it and I was just like, is that kind of day?
You know, and it's just because I'm a huge Maria Manunos and Mario Lopez fans. So it's like I got to stick up for my extra. Yeah. Extra.
There we go. Now it's all in your heads. Are you a TMZ guy at all? You watch that hotel rooms on the road?
I do. And I've been, now I've been on TMZ a few times. Oh, yeah. I'm not a brand William.
Yes. Exactly. There he is this little guy, but he's got a big bag of the airport. That's weird.
He's a little guy with a big personality. Yeah. Oh my God. Every single one of those things have been said about me.
Yeah. They've actually gotten me at the airport, which is weird when you get off the plane. Because you travel a lot. You know that when you get off the plane, you're not exactly in the cheeriest of moods.
You probably took the 6am flight to try to get home early so you don't waste a day. Yeah, you definitely don't look good. No. Yeah.
You've slept maybe two hours. And then you get off the plane and they just shove a microphone in your face. You're like, Hey, so what do you think about the new season game? It's Dinklage is falling in and you're like, Oh, fuck.
You're like, you're on such a different energy level than me right now. I don't know if we communicate properly. Yeah. The whole time, the whole time as I'm talking, in my head I'm talking, in the same time, I'm just saying like, Oh, don't say the end word.
Like, I don't say anything. It's like, it's like, it's just don't be bad. Just don't say anything like, yeah, he's willing to shut the fuck up, right? Like, yeah, yeah, I just trying not to do that.
Breaking news. Brad William racist and homophobic. We just asked him about Beyonce and then he said, kill the Jews. I don't know why that happened.
Things come in little packages too. It's kind of the point now where, because they do that because they have the flight manifest. They actually know who is on the plane. Which you think about it is creepy as fuck.
It's super creepy. Right. So they can literally be like, Oh, someone's on this flight. Let's just go and be there at the at the badge claim.
But some of the people get escorted through like the backways, the innards of the airport, which I didn't even know was a thing, but it totally makes sense. Until I was on a flight with a chance to the rapper and I went to the bag of claim and he went a completely different way. Yeah. And I was like, Oh, that's how that works.
Okay, cool. That's another level. That makes way more sense. I've been like, yeah, chance just waiting around for his bag.
Right. So you got him going through some secret way with security. Meanwhile, me and William hung and just get to walk out there and have, you know, the two words in Asians that you think might have a slight mental disability, but are afraid to say so. They're just like us.
But it's got to the point now where I will literally on the plane just write like two bits or just have two talking points just so in my head as I'm walking to baggage claim and go, okay, if they come up, I have this rant that I will just go into. And so I don't, you know, I'm not like thinking like, Oh God, be funny, but be weird, be controversial, be, you know, and then I say something bad. So I just said, all right, I'm going to go with the quick sand porn bit. And like no matter what question they asked me, I'll somehow filter it back into quick sand porn.
We're like, Hey, so we heard your dad used to kind of bully you as a kid. Yeah. What's up with this quick sand porn? Right.
Just going to that quick sand porn bit. You buy her an element. Yeah. She wanted to be real quick.
That's not the question you were supposed to ask me. You were supposed to ask me. So you're cats been caught in a roof. That's you were supposed to ask me what I have a long extravagant bit about.
Tell me a story about that. Now it's May 1st today. So that means that it's national cats on roofs. Hey, you have a story about that, don't you Brad?
Yeah, I do. I love talking about it. Did you notice that I am slightly orange at all? No.
Would you do a Trump character yesterday? No, I did a porn star character on Kill Tony last night. And I almost, I may have to show you the what it looked like before. Like it was, it was, I was way darker, but I showered a lot of it off.
Wow. Yeah. So you just look like you fucked back at Cheetos. Just a little bit like I feel like it's not too noticeable, but I noticed it because my skin tone is usually way lighter.
Yeah, your pale as fuck. Yeah, yeah. I mean, and that's coming from another pale as fuck guy. Yeah.
So we get it. Pale recognizes pale. Yeah. Yeah.
Oh, wait, when do people call in? You know what? Actually, I think we're actually going to call right now. Someone's coming up on the call already right now, actually.
Hello? Yeah, I was in the audience last night for Kill Tony. Oh, it looks like there's a Kill Tony fan that's going in. Cool.
Hey, how's it going, buddy? It's fantastic. Let me tell you something. You as that porn star character looks so sexy.
Thank you. I just tried to say you a tub of cool whip. Some good stuff can happen. You and I have a cool whip.
Is this have anything. You have a cool whip. No, I've never been cool. You gotta be cool with man.
Everybody's doing it. Hey, man, is that something that you made up? You sound like it's a trend that like everybody's doing, but I'm a pretty hip guy. I've never heard of cool whipped before.
I'm pretty sure it's number three on pornhub.com. Oh, is there like a parody song? Like, no, watch me cool whip. No, watch me.
Hey, is there anything like that? It's out there? I'll make you they may. Oh, I don't like going to sound at all.
Does this have anything to do with because I was eating a banana as a porn star last night and I was spitting the banana on another person's lower back? I mean, if you said that I wasn't envisioning myself as that lower back, I'd be lying. I mean, this is a very creepy fan that's definitely calling into the show. Who's creepy?
I don't know. You have like an omen. I don't even know where you're calling in from. You have this like echo or reverb on your voice or something.
I got a super bedroom apartment in Van Nuys. I love that as a pickup line. Like, hey, girl, I got a one bedroom apartment in Van Nuys. Where are we going tonight?
Sad part is some people would be incredibly sold by that line. Oh, absolutely. You got a one bedroom in Van Nuys? You talking shit on Van Nuys?
No, I'm not talking about Van Nuys. The disparaging laid off. I'm just saying that it's just kind of funny and a little bit of a lame of a pickup line. You know, like normally when you take people out of dinner and sort of wind them in dynamite and he's trying to like take you to a one bedroom apartment in Van Nuys.
It's not exactly on everyone's Tinder profile. Yeah. You don't know what can be done in one bedroom in Van Nuys. Lots of stuff.
Can you hang up on that guy? I'll try. Yeah, okay. I just hung up on him.
Okay. Oh, yeah. That's another one. Yeah.
I got a studio apartment in Valley Village where we got right now. Yeah. Wow. I mean, is that a step up from Van Nuys?
Oh, yeah. You know it is. Now, what is Valley Village have that Van Nuys doesn't? Man, we got a lot more culture than Van Nuys.
The coffee shops are more pop than that. And also the thrift stores are over run by hipsters. All right. I mean, that doesn't sound incredibly awful.
No, but we can go shop at Booboo. All right. We just lost that person too. We had some weird Kill Tony fans that we're calling into.
You know what? And speaking of Kill Tony fans, it's not rare that I can say this, but I'm not actually the first dwarf ever to be on this podcast. It's true. Yeah.
We men got him before me, which not going to say kind of hurt. You know what? You were scheduled before him. I was.
You were scheduled before him. He's a busy guy. We made it happen. I'm actually very happy that you were able to do it today because Brad is freaking busy dude.
He's always on the road. Yeah. We got him. Yeah.
But I will say he is a massive Kill Tony fan and he's one of the reasons we were able to get on the podcast. And I was like, hey, can I come to your podcast and then right afterwards go watch Kill Tony. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm biased. Yeah. That's perfect.
Yeah. That's great. So thank you for the assist on that. Oh, heck yeah dude.
Yeah. It was funny one night. I was actually there when because you we did Game of Thrones and I played Kaleesi and you played Tyrion. Yeah.
A little bit of type casting. A little bit of type casting. I mean, I had to play a blonde woman. Sure.
Yeah. I thought it would have been funny if I played Jon Snow. I thought if I came out and was like, what, I'm Jon Snow. Yeah.
Yeah. Obviously. I thought that would have been funny but not with Tyrion. That's fine.
People freaked out. Yeah. It was a pretty huge pop. Yeah.
It was pretty great. And I'm not going to lie. It's now like I have this love hate relationship with Peter Dinklage because I love him because he's an amazing talent and he's got some good jokes and he's furthering the awareness of dwarves and show business and not necessarily playing dwarf specific stereotypical roles. So obviously great.
But then I have a hate relationship with him because he's in fucking everything and I don't get to play. Could I get a little piece? Could I have been the dwarf giant in Infinity War? Yeah.
I mean, by the way, he played a dwarf giant. I know. That's range. Well, that's everything in one role.
A dwarf and a giant. I mean, it's pretty cool. I mean, they've had, they've had tall people that they CGI down like in Lord of the Rings. Like the dwarves and Lord of the Rings are not played by dwarves.
They're played by tall people that they spent extra money on. That was like a big thing, right? Yeah, because of course, because it's taken away roles from us. Fucking hire us.
Yeah, yeah. What about this? Everyone gets freaked out when Scarlett Johansson is going to play a trans person. No one came to the dwarf defense when you got tall people playing Bob Hoskins played a dwarf in Snow White, the Huntsman.
Bob Hoskins. Yeah. Speak. Eddie, from the point, which other people that Robert Downey Jr.
should have won an Oscar for his role in Tropic Thunder. He should have won an Oscar for that. That was a white dude playing a white guy who's in blackface essentially and no one said shit. He played it so good that no one was like, that's just pretty good.
It was really authentic. It was really authentic. I don't know if that will ever happen again. I don't think that I don't even think that could happen today.
Yeah, I think that he played that role at such a very specific time where people were like, all right, we'll let that slide. It's like, let me zyron, man. Yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah, it's like right after the first Iron Man movie that may have been his next role where it's like, man, I got to talk about range.
Yeah, that's full range right there. You also have another title because we don't, that I, that not many people know about is you are one of the only people who have ever gested with the wave on Rose Battle on Comedy Central. I did, I did guess with the wave. And it was great.
It was amazing. Talking about how Peter Dinklage has made it so dwarves don't have to play stereotypical roles. And then this next question is about me playing a leprechaun. Whatever, it's fine.
Fine with it. Dude, we crushed that. See, that's the thing is if you're going to do a stereotypical role, fuck it. You went for it.
We really like that. And when you're standing up and your pubes are shaved and you got a man, Jaina, I can't be playing a leprechaun being like, they're exploiting me. Like, you can't be like, they're singling me out. Because no, everyone's getting it.
Everybody's just going for it. Yeah, exactly. But that was a lot of fun. And yeah, we were one of the, after one of the jokes that hit.
I ran out and you guys chased me. And the crowd went absolutely rich. Yeah, we had a rainbow flag. And William Jamar were holding up a pot of gold.
And then literally Brad came out full leprechaun garb, which he provided. That's the sad part. Is they're like, the sad part is that they're like, all right. So we're going to get you coming for a costume fitting.
And you got to get some leprechaun wardrobe. I'm like, I have that stuff, guys. You just want me to bring my own. We're like, wait, what?
You already have a fitted one? That'll be way better than anything we're going to buy for you. Yeah, you're going to go and buy one. It's like, no, I'm good.
I mean, that as a thing is as a dwarf in Hollywood, I can't get that upset about certain stereotypes and what certain people say to be like, well, you guys roll leprechauns, right? Because it's like, yeah, I've got the outfit. I have it because I've been on auditions where they're calling for a leprechaun. And they say, come dress as a leprechaun.
And you're like, fuck you. And you're like, how about I have the outfit? So I can't look at that man. I have a leprechaun outfit.
And I have an elf costume in my house. And they're just ready to go. And ironically, based on the news that is happening today, I have a tote outfit, which is very strange. Do you?
I do. So I got you some sort of post today. But that would mean awesome. Oh, yeah.
Yeah. And we were both very drunk. And which I think you have to be sitting around going like, what should we do? It's like, it was like after a show, we were sitting at my old place.
And we should do something like we should do a video or something. And really, what was the Fox Day song? It's pretty big. It's like, yeah.
And then for no reason whatsoever, I said, I got tote outfit I can change into. And Adam's like, this is why we're best friends. Yeah, right here. Right here.
Because why not? Yeah, of course. Yeah, it makes no sense. There's no reference to toad in the song.
But fuck it. Yeah. And for wondering why is toad in pop culture. I saw Mario Kart trending today on Twitter.
And I was like, why is Mario Kart trending? Are they releasing a new Mario Kart? What's happening? And then I clicked on it.
It's not that. It's Stormy Daniels said that Donald Trump's dick is like toad from Mario Kart. Did you straight up say that? Yeah, she said it looks like toad from Mario Kart.
I'm like, it's spotted? Oh. It's got a weird helmet? Yeah.
Yes. Is that how weird of a time are we living in when somebody can openly talk about the president's dick? Even if it's not your president or whatever, like whatever. It's just like a weird time to be like, oh, the president of the United States, I'm going to tell you about his dick right now.
And compared to a video game. And people will be like, oh, very interesting. Yeah, that's news. Yeah, and also the point that now, like we're going to look back on this time and wish it was back in this time.
We're just hearing about the president's dick. In the future, when someone runs for president, you don't think at one point they will have sent a dick to somebody? Oh, I know. Somebody's going to have that dick.
And be like, yeah, here's the dick from whatever president. Like that's going to happen. Everything's going to be leaked. You're just going to be able to see a president's dick.
Yeah. We're going to have a president's sex tape at some point. It's going to be, it's going to happen. You can't deny human, I don't want to call it evolution, because evolution implies that we're advancing.
I don't think we are. But yeah, that's going to happen. Do you think we're going to become more like an idiocracy kind of world? It's so strange.
They've already predicted some of the stuff that's happening in that movie, which is very scary. Yeah, I mean, hell, one of the TV programs that the guy is watching is just called Owl My Balls. And yeah, that's pretty much where we're at in entertainment right now. You go online and just the compilation's and the nutshots that people are watching.
So yeah, that's essentially happening. I mean, it's strange because we're in, it's that Charles Dickens thing where it's like, it's the best of times, it's the worst of times. Like we have, I listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson on the Joe Rogan podcast and I'm like, holy shit, there are some ridiculously smart people. And you listen to Elon Musk and he talks about like all the advancements that we're making in terms of artificial intelligence and simulations and what he's coming out with in terms of the future for Tesla.
You're like, holy shit, we have just insanely intelligent people and the most advanced people that we've ever had. And then you have the opposite side. I think there's just the very few are like Neil deGrasse Tyson and Elon Musk and the masses are just getting dumb and dumb and dumb. Yeah.
Yeah. And so we're just looking at your Elon Musk just going like, OK, can you guys just save us? Because we're, this is not going to go well. Oh, I don't get these these cars driving themselves and stuff, but I don't trust it, man.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. It's like, I just let the smart people handle it. OK, man, I mean, I'll Uber maybe, but I don't trust like no car driving telling me where I'm going to go. OK.
I was so anti-auto driving car. And then I started thinking about it. I'm like, no, now I'm really pro. I want everyone to have them, not just five people.
Well, that's the thing. Everybody has them. The likeliness of accidents and stuff goes way down. Way down.
But some of those self-driving cars have slammed into other cars because of there's a weird, like the sensors are off or something. So it thinks it's something else and it'll change lanes very quickly or something like that. But yeah, but yeah, now you just need everyone to have them. Yeah.
And then we live in Los Angeles, Hollywood area. If you drive around, you'll just see so many people where you're like, yeah, I wish you had a not a driving car. Because the auto driving car wouldn't make a right from the far left lane when I've seen people throw, miss their exit on the freeway and reverse. Yeah.
And I'm just like, the balls. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That would not happen with the self-driving car. No, it's not going to do that.
So you see stuff like that and people waiting at green lights because they're looking down their phone, which I'm also guilty of. Like, yeah, yeah, they should be in self-driving cars. They just go. The self-driving cars start reading their own text messages.
And the self-driving cars behind them start honking at them. Like, bro, come on. They're like, sorry, it was down letting new data. They have that new Candy Crash game, which is fly as fuck.
It's not out. Yeah, it's really interesting to see kind of where it's going and how it's going. Yeah, there's so many people. I'd be like, yeah, you should.
I just got my wife a car and it has the lane assist. Oh, yeah, yeah. So clutch. We drove up from San Francisco over the weekend and she was driving.
Yeah, there was definitely times. It was late at night. You're just drifting a little bit. You're a little tired.
You're drifting and the car went, no. No, Gary, you want to go this way. Yeah, you're going to go. And normally that was scary.
Now, that's great. And if you drive for too long and it's too late at night, it'll start playing a low music and a little picture of a coffee cup will come up and be like, hey, time for a break? Maybe you want to pull over? It might be a good idea.
It's the most passive aggressive light. So I'm kind of driving like an asshole right now. So maybe just a thought. That's even if we could pull over, have a red bull, do something.
Yeah. I like that. I got to give you props on something that happened very recently for you. You became a pay regular at the World Famous Comedy Store.
Yeah. Join the fam over there, man. I did. And it's one of those things where comics understand what that means.
Yes. Comics get it. And because my mom called me up because she follows me on social media. She has a social media, but not so she can post anything.
Thank god. She just follows. She has it to follow me and my sister. Yeah.
But like. She's one of the egg accounts? Yeah. Yeah.
That's right. Yeah. So she just called me up and was like, what's this? You got your past at the Comedy Store?
I'm like, yeah. It's kind of a big deal. And she's like, why? Like you perform all the time.
Like is this a one club? Yeah. Why this one club? Are so many people congratulating you on it.
Yeah. And she's like, you've had specials. It's like, could you not perform there before? Like, no, I could perform there before, but I'd be on a privately book show that was separate from the actual Comedy Store family.
Like, never mind. Just know it's a big thing. Yeah. And it is a big thing.
And thank you. And honestly, one of the coolest parts is now I get to park in that damn lot. Oh, I know. That's honestly what I'm doing.
The Comedy Store. I mean, if you're a fan of you, they probably are very familiar with the Comedy Store. But yeah, it's on Sunset, one of the busiest parts of Hollywood. And there's not a lot of parking.
I feel like a lot of businesses in Hollywood have the same mentality where it's just like, hey, here's a really cool thing that's right here. Like, great. Where do we park? Fuck if I know.
Like, the L-Ray Theater is like that too. It's like down there on Wilshire. Yeah. And it's like in a really crowded area.
There's no parking lots. It's all permit parking around there. Yeah. Because there's a bunch of apartment buildings and stuff.
And yeah, you're just like, I don't know. And they're just like, I don't know. And they're just like, I don't figure it out. We have a really cool band in here.
We have the Arctic Monkeys playing. You want to see them? Go fucking park. I love the Arctic Monkeys.
I'm glad I brought up that reference then. Because I was trying to think of a great band that is like not super well known. I say that as I have tickets to go see the Hollywood Bowl. Do you really?
In October. Yeah. So a funny story about the Arctic Monkeys. One time.
I was three in the moment. I was trying to change my mind. Great song. Left your multiple things to your messes you replied.
I was. This is when I first started dating my wife. And we were living in San Francisco. And I was at her place.
And then I started going down. And then she was like, I don't put on some music. And she put on the Arctic Monkeys. And I had never heard the Arctic Monkeys before then.
I heard that one song like, I bet you look good on the dance floor. That was huge for a while. Yeah, huge song, fast rock hit. Now what you looking at?
Yeah. I was putting on the slow melodic bluesy shit that they do. And then she comes back into me and pisses. But there was a point where I literally stopped her and went, you gotta change the music.
She's like, oh, do you not like this? I'm like, no, I love this. It's too good. I'm like, I hear this.
