K Karpen: "What Is Your Why?" (Sermon for June 15, 2025)

"When Jesus saw the sick man lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, Jesus said to him, 'Do you want to be made well?'” - John 5:6Friends,Sitting at breakfast a few weeks back, our friend Cameron was telling us about the work she does as a counselor to young people. She shared that at some point she urges them to find something that gives their lives a bit of purpose, asking them, 'What's your why?' We may not all be troubled teenagers (though there are days I feel like one), but that's a question we each need to struggle with. And walk beside our youth, especially those who will be confirmed this Sunday, as they, too, seek answers to that question.What's your why?K
