Lauri Ojala soittaa rumpuja Lähiöbotoxissa, ja hänen soittotyylinsä on yhtä aikaa tylyn brutaali, hämmästyttävän energinen ja todella groovaava. Laurin historiaan kuuluu bändejä kuten Satura Lanx, Lighthouse Project ja Varjot, joista viimeisin on edelleen aktiivinen silloin kun siihen aikaa jää. Lähiöbotox puolestaan valmistelee kolmatta täyspitkää levyä ja keikkailee läpi kesän. Bändi kävi viime vuonna soittamassa Angolassa asti, ja tästä reissusta tehtiin Ylelle dokumenttisarja African Metal Tour, joka löytyy Yle Areenasta. Lauri puhuu pitkässä haastattelussa paitsi Botoxien Angolan-reissusta myös soittourastaan, Euroopan-kiertueistaan ja taustastaan itseoppineena soittajana. Lähiöbotoxiin kuuluvat Laurin lisäksi laulajat Luyeye "Viki" Konssi ja Hanad Hassan, kitaristit Harto Haukkavuori ja Juho Rantanen sekä basisti Samuli Peurala.
