ការត្រាស់ហៅលោកម៉ូសេ (និក្ខមនំ ២-៤)ម៉ូសេបានបន្តរស់នៅក្នុងរាជដំណាក់ជាកូនប្រុសរបស់បុត្រីព្រះចៅផារ៉ោនរហូតដល់ធំពេញវ័យ តែម៉ូសេក៏បានដឹងខ្លួនឯងថា គាត់ជាជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល។ គាត់តែងតែមានអារម្មណ៍ខឹងយ៉ាងខ្លាំងនៅពេលគាត់បានឃើញទង្វើដ៏សាហាវព្រៃផ្សៃរបស់ពួកជនជាតិអេស៊ីព្ទមកលើទាសករជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល។ នៅថ្ងៃមួយ ខណៈដែលម៉ូសេកំពុងដើរ គាត់ក៏បានឃើញជនជាតិអេស៊ីព្ទម្នាក់កំពុងវាយទាសករជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែលម្នាក់ នោះគាត់ក៏បានដើរទៅជួយសង្គ្រោះសាសន៍អ៊ីស្រាអែលនោះ ទាំងជ្រុលដៃសម្លាប់ជនជាតិអេស៊ីព្ទនោះទៅ។ដោយភាពភ័យខ្លាច ម៉ូសេបានរត់គេចពីស្រុកអេស៊ីព្ទទៅស្រុកម៉ាឌាន ហើយបានចាប់ផ្ដើមធ្វើការនៅទីនោះជាអ្នក គង្វាលចៀមអស់រយៈពេលសែសិបឆ្នាំ ក៏បានរៀបការជាមួយកូនស្រីរបស់លោកយេត្រូ ឈ្មោះសេផូរ៉ា ហើយមានកូនប្រុស២នាក់។មានថ្ងៃមួយ ពេលដែលម៉ូសេកំពុងឃ្វាលហ្វូងចៀមរបស់លោកយេត្រូនៅក្បែរភ្នំ ស្រាប់តែគាត់បានឃើញគុម្ពោតព្រៃដ៏ចម្លែកមួយគឺគុម្ពោតព្រៃនោះកំពុងឆេះ តែឆេះឥតសុសសោះ ភ្លាមៗនោះ ស្រាប់តែព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានលេចមកឯគាត់ ហើយហៅគាត់ពីក្នុងគុម្ពោតព្រៃដែលកំពុងឆេះនោះ ដោយចាត់គាត់ឱ្យទៅដឹកនាំប្រជារាស្ត្រអ៊ីស្រាអែលចេញពីស្រុកអេស៊ីព្ទ ទាំងប្រាប់ឈ្មោះរបស់ទ្រង់ដល់គាត់ផង។Calling of Moses (Exodus 2 – 4)Moses grew up in Pharaoh’s palace. Together, Moses and Zipporah had two sons.One day in Midian, while Moses was watching over​ Jethro’s sheep he saw a very strange bush. The bush was on fire but did not burn up and just then, God appeared to him and called to him from inside the burning bush to go and lead the Israelites from Egypt, and during the conversation, God told His name to Moses.
