Võtsime tehnika ning seadsime oma kabiini püsti Northern Roots Forumil Tallinnas, Kultuurikatlas. 22. - 23. jaanuar vältel oli meil au ja suurepärane võimalus intervjueerida kõiki üritusel osalenud peaesinejaid, et vestelda meile omases vabas ja mõnusas võtmes taastava põllumajanduse teemadel.Esimeses osas võõrustasime oma kabiinis kahte kuuendat põlve põllumehe ametit pidavat austraallast - Grant Sims ja Tom Robinson, kes andsid meile ülevaate üleminekust taastavale põllumajandusele, sellest tekkinud muutustest ning vahekultuuride valikust väljakutseid pakkuvas Austraalia kliimas.Küsimusi esitas ise Austraalias põllumehe ametit proovinud Kristjan Anderson ning tehnikaparki hooldas Elmar Reinhold.ENG:We are pleased to launch our very first Podcast episode in English! Straight from the annual Northern Roots Forum held on 22nd to 23rd of January in Kultuurikatel, Tallinn. Following "Kabiinijutud x Northern Roots 2025" episodes will host the key note speakers from the event to get a better glimpse of each performer, have an open and chill conversation about their field of expertise.For the first episode we were happy to welcome to our booth two 6th generation farmers all the way from Down Under - Grant Sims and Tom Robinson. Knowing the ins and outs of tough Australian farming conditions they presented their expertise on biologically made liquid fertilizers that Grant has been using since 2008 and Tom's 20 years worth of zero-till implementing. Kristjan had a chat on transition to regenerative practices and it's challenges, took a dive into the selection of cover crops being used in Australia and have been the changes Grant and Tom have seen regarding the practices they have implemented over time.This episode was hosted by Kristjan Anderson with the help of co-host Elmar Reinhold behind the recording gear.
