Kacey Baker is one of Australia's most in demand voiceover artists, a multi-ACRA winning radio producer, superstar DJ known as DJ KCB, and now a filmmaker with Hollywood on the phone. He was KIIS FM's first ever voiceover artist, voicing the network's 2014 launch TVCs. He launched The Kyle and Jackie O Show. That's just the voice. Kacey came up through the Australian club scene as DJ KCB, mixed the biggest selling Wild FM CDs in the country, and got pulled into the Hot 30 Countdown by Kyle Sandilands, who crowned him the world's best megamixer. He spent years as image producer for 2Day FM and the entire Austereo network, picking up multiple Australian Commercial Radio Award wins along the way. Then in 2012 he walked away from all of it.He studied film. Bought a RED camera. Started his own production company. In 2020, his COVID short Stay Home Stay Safe hit two million views in a week. New York Times writers were tweeting it out. Foxtel called for an interview. Netflix directors and crew started reaching out. Then came the LA manager and the call from Warner Brothers.
