Bilim insanı ve genetikçi Naşide Gözde Durmuş' tan bahsedeceğiz. 1985 yılında İzmir'de dünyaya geldi. 2003 yılında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (ODTÜ) Moleküler biyoloji bölümünde lisans eğitimine başladı. Fulbright bursunu kazanarak yükseköğrenim için Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne gitti. Medyada kendisini öne çıkaran çalışması ise bulduğu kanser testi oldu. Şeker ölçüm cihazına benzetilen bu cihaza verilen ufak bir kan örneği sayesinde vücudunuzda kanserli hücre olup olmadığı tespit edilebiliyor.
