Kaleb Stephens on How to Progress in Your Running and in Life

from Everyday Ultra · host Joe Corcione

Can you run ultramarathons, even if you don’t have any traditional running background? You bet! And Kaleb Stephens is a great example of that. Not only has he completed 13 ultramarathons, but he did that within a 4 year span, coming from a low point in his life where he dealt with depression and wasn’t running frequently. His key to success? Not wanting to live a life on others’ terms. And that has driven him to finish the Cocodona 250 miler, run a sub-20 hour 100 miler at Javelina Jundred, and also complete multiple ultramarathons. And in this episode, Kaleb shares his story on how he was able to make progress in his running journey, how you can find a running community in your life (even if you don’t have runners around you), and how to use doubt as a fuel source to power your biggest dreams. Kaleb Stephens is an ultrarunner, content creator, coach, and community advocate who has amassed the following of tens of thousands of runners. And his mission is to help inspire others to live a life worth living. Huge thank you to Kaleb for coming on the show!
