Kalerrâ

from Polar Times · host APECS

Today on Polar Times we welcome fellow podcaster (and artist and photographer) Chloe Russell to the show to talk about her podcast Kalerrâ. Kalerrâ is a Greenlandic word which means "the sound of it" and the podcast is full of sounds recorded by Chloe during an trip to Weisboylund in the Northeast Greenland National Park zone as part of an interdisciplinary expedition of scientists and artists. As well as sounds from the field the podcast is full of snippets with interviews from the scientists on the trip (Anne Lydiat, Laura Melissa Williams, Amy Pryor and Wanda Bodnar), music from Ben Imber and narration from Chloe herself, which combine to create an immersive listening experience designed to help the listener feel connected with the remote Northeast Greenland. Chloe chats to jack about her experiences in the field, the decisions behind releasing Kalerrâ as a podcast and how sounds can be used to foster a greater sense of connectedness than almost anything else. You can listen to Kalerrâ on Spotify, Apple and lots of other places where you get podcasts from. It has the full Polar Times seal of approval so definitely check it out! Barnum. Some laws teach the need for prudence (“Law 1: Never Outshine the Master”), others teach the value of confidence (“Law 28: Enter Action with Boldness”), and many recommend absolute self-preservation (“Law 15: Crush Your Enemy Totally”). Every law, though, has one thing in common: an interest in t Patti Talks Too Much Patti Hi. I'm Patti and it's been said - many times - that I talk too much. I'm a teacher, author, nature lover and for ten years I owned a coffeehouse cafe where my faith in the goodness of humans was restored every day. This podcast highlights the awesomeness of humanity - er...outside the warmongers, globalists, tyrants and politicians in general. You know, the rest of us weird, quirky and sometimes hilarious humans. We'll talk woo, probe mysteries and leave you thinking about something more interesting or entertaining or uplifting than your grocery list, or boss or that oil change your car needs. I talk too much because I can't help my Gemini moon and Leo Rising nature. I do a podcast because it's cheaper, funnier and more productive than therapy. My Messy, Human Life Sheena Grund A new adventure of being alive in this messy, difficult, and beautiful human life... topics to be discussed at different times: life, unlearning, disability, faith, love, Spirit... really all the things! It'll be messy (as in all over the place), but that literally in the title of the podcast, so hopefully it's not a surprise! Also, life is unpredictable and beautiful, which I hope this podcast will be, too. Who Am I? Air Kraehmer Best known for her award-winning books about therapy, spirituality and her testimony of overcoming human trafficking, Air shares her walk of life with survivors all over the world. This podcast is dedicated to help you discover who you are through dark, happy and elevating times.
