Kam Buckner - Mayor For Chicago

For those in Chicago, you might recognize the name Kam Buckner, as he is one of the candidates running for Mayor of Chicago on February 28th. Kam grew up on Chicago’s South Side, got his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his law degree from DePaul University. His previous experiences include working as an aid for Senator Dick Durbin and working for Chicago Cubs, focusing on neighborhood relations. Currently, he serves as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from the 26th district. Kam defines himself as a self-styled progressive Democrat.
