Pencak silat is judged by punches, kicks, strokes and dings. The target that must be worn is the body armor of each athlete. One of Indonesia's proud martial arts athletes is Pipiet Kamelia. He has made Indonesia famous in the international arena. Quoted from the Instagram account @lihatmereka, the hijab girl born in Jakarta, January 6, 1995, said that she fell in love with pencak silat because she wanted to prove that women were able to provide the best for the country. Also that pencak silat is very friendly to women. Pipiet decided to seriously become a pencak silat athlete because according to him God had given him more strength and that pencak silat could accommodate him. Pipiet is a graduate of the Jakarta State University (UNJ) with a field of Sport Science. He won medals in several Asian silat competitions, some of which are ASIAN GAMES, SEA GAMES, and others. Pipiet is the wife of a fighter named Hanifan Yudani. Now, both of them are married. He had a knee injury in 2016. This required him to step aside from pencak silat activities for 5 months.
