流感季來臨，除了打疫苗能有7～8成保護力，個人的防護措施也很重要。高雄市立小港醫院副院長洪志興、衛福部疾管署防疫醫師林詠青都指出，流感大多是飛沫傳染，戴口罩、勤洗手，是流感季出國不生病的法寶。 洪志興指出，只要旁邊有人咳嗽，他會躲得遠遠的，並且戴上外科用口罩，因為不只流感病毒，其他包括腺病毒、鼻病毒等也會引起感冒症狀。如果出現感冒症狀，就盡量少到人多的地方，保護自己及別人。
