Kangaroo on the Loose in Missouri | St. Louis News

A kangaroo named ROOfus has escaped his enclosure in Stoddard County, Missouri—yes, you read that right. Weighing 80-90 pounds and just 3.5 years old, this affectionate pet is reportedly spooked by a gunshot and now roaming wild. His owners are desperately trying to lure him back with a pen while urging anyone who spots him to call immediately and stay away. They’re also worried about nearby puppies he’s been seen with. This isn’t the first time ROOfus has bolted—he’s known for escaping through fence tricks. With his homebound nature and no wild instincts, they’re hoping he hasn’t wandered too far and will be found safe before it’s too late.
