Kanisha Anderson Earns All-Region Honors

Kanisha Anderson just earned major honors, making the NFCA All-Region Mid-Atlantic Third Team — a prestigious nod that marks the second time in three years an ECU player has received this recognition. Leading the Pirates with a .374 batting average, 73 hits, 41 runs, and 10 stolen bases, Anderson’s clutch hitting powered the team to a program-record 16 conference wins and their first-ever trip to the American Softball Championship. She also snagged First Team All-Conference honors — a rare achievement for an ECU player. A standout in the outfield with a .984 fielding percentage, Anderson proved she’s a two-way force, cementing her as a key reason behind ECU’s historic season.
