Kanon Catchings Returns to Georgia Bulldogs

Georgias Kanon Catchings, a rising junior forward, is back for another season, bringing valuable experience to the Bulldogs. After transferring from BYU, Catchings started all 32 games last season, averaging 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. He shot 42.3% from the field and 37.6% from beyond the arc. With Catchings, Kareem Stagg, and Smurf Millender returning from the NCAA tournament squad, Georgia aims to maintain stability amidst roster changes. However, six players have entered the transfer portal, including key contributors Somto Cyril and Jeremiah Wilkinson. As the portal remains open until late April, Georgia is strategically building for next season, ensuring the Bulldog momentum continues.
