This free event closes out the 2024-25 Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors–Jamey Aebersold Concert/Clinic Series. The concert will spotlight music from Bob Brookmeyer’s classic album ISLAND. A Kansas City native and jazz legend, Brookmeyer’s work continues to inspire generations. Mike shares his insights on Bob’s legacy, his personal connection to the music, and what makes this tribute so special.
