Kansas City Current’s LEGO Stadium Debut | Kansas City Royals News

The Kansas City Current just got a LEGO-sized honor—their brand-new stadium is now the first ever built for a women’s pro soccer team… and also the first LEGO stadium ever made to celebrate a pro women’s sports team. Over 80 hours and 15,000 bricks went into this tiny masterpiece, unveiled at LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Kansas City with local young players from the Teal Rising Alliance in attendance. It’ll be on display at Crown Center for a month before moving to its permanent home at LEGOLAND later this year—a quirky, eye-catching tribute that’s as much about community and fun as it is about breaking barriers.
