Kant's philosophy - The faculty of desiring: The difference between will and choice

Besides the faculty of cognition and the feeling of pleasure and displeasure the human mind also has a faculty of desiring according to Kant. And desiring is what practical philosophy deals with, be it the doctrine of happiness, dealing with that which we actually desire, or moral philosophy, dealing with that which we ought to desire.
