Kant's philosophy - What is patriotism?

Love for the fatherland should not be like the love for a beef steak from which everyone cuts off a slice for himself, Kant says. The true patriot takes his commonwealth not as loot but he serves the whole. This service however is not chimerical delusion only if it is a service of justice.
