Kara Walker | 3rd room - How the past is remembered and forgotten

From September to November 2025, visitors can explore the exhibitions Kara Walker and Human at Fundación Proa with the audio guide.On the ground floor, a selection of works by the American contemporary artist Kara Walker is presented. The exhibition brings together her iconic pieces created through diverse techniques, in which she explores themes of power, violence, gender, and representation, questioning historical narratives through images.On the first floor, the exhibition Human, part of the Prix Pictet prize focused on photography and sustainability, is on view.
