Karen Meador - The Old Military Road

Karen Meador realized she was had a serious obsession with history when the idea of visiting the San Juan Capistrano Mission was more appealing than a trip to Disneyland. Since then, she’s embraced the heritage of each place she’s lived from Northern Norway to South Mississippi. In the Pacific Northwest, she’s discovered, written and lectured about Old Military Road which carried the military and settlers from Fort Steilacoom to Fort Bellingham Road.
