However, the real shocker came next with former Canton police officer Kelly Dever as called to the stand by the defense. Dever testified she was threatened that if she didn’t lie on the defense stand they would make sure she was charged with perjury. Finally, the defense put up self proclaimed dog bite expert Marie Russell to the stand.
