Watching her face turn bright red while she tried to lie her way out of it was the only satisfying part of the night, especially when Mom realized her favorite necklace was tucked inside my sister's coat. She won't be invited back for Christmas, and seeing her drive away in tears after being completely exposed was the reality check she has needed for years.It is honestly heartbreaking how some people can be so greedy that they would actually ruin a holiday just to get their hands on a few things that don't belong to them.
