In your bio, you say that you didn’t like reading. You actually say that you avoided it. Can you share what changed that made you an active reader? a. “Hooked On Phonics Worked For Me” 2. So you go from not wanting to read at all to reading everything in sight. You said that you had to hide Harlequin romance novels from your mom. I’m going to show my ignorance, but can you share what a Harlequin romance novel is and why your mother would disapprove of them? 3. So you decided to get an English degree and write your own books instead. Do you mind sharing the process that you took from actively reading to writing? a. Has your faith been affected in this process? 4. You mentioned in a private message that your books aren’t classified as ‘Christian’, they take a more secular approach.
