from The Grand Awakening Podcast · host Randall Hekman

Karl House grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. Karl has planted a Christian Reformed Church near Toronto and a Vineyard Church in Tampa. He is back in Grand Rapids planting The Way MicroChurches—A new family of simple churches in Grand Rapids and beyond. Karl's passion is to pour into a new generation of disciples, leaders and MicroChurches.  In this podcast, Karl explains what MicroChurches are and why they are not a new concept at all. In fact, the book of Acts in the New Testament describes many such entities that God used in powerful ways. While in no way putting down any type of church structure, Karl nonetheless points to the many positive results that happen as members of Christ's Body meet in smaller groupings, generally maximizing the spiritual growth and positive impact of each individual.
