Karl Lashkari: What are the challenges men have today with their mental health?

from Fraternity Foodie Podcast by Greek University · host Michael Ayalon

Many men today are struggling to achieve their goals and desired lifestyle, and many who do actually acquire what they have desired, feel a lack of satisfaction and fulfillment of the day-day journey to get there. Today's society has provided many opportunities for wealth and status, but for most it comes at a huge personal sacrifice. Many find that pursuit of wealth and luxury comes at the cost of: • Operating with high stress on a day-to-day basis, resulting in dissatisfaction, burnout, or mental or physical health concerns. • Feeling disempowered in time, decision making, or being heard both in the workplace and in intimate relationships • Being paralyzed by high work outputs, metric-based goals, and never-ending intellectual research; stunting the space for creativity and innovation. Karl Lashkari helps men develop inner alignment so they can lead powerfully and with inspiration to create expansion in business, in their romantic relationships, and in social change initiatives. In episode 362 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why Karl chose UC Davis for his undergraduate experience, what risks he sees ahead with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, how he became very sick and what were the external factors, how he was able to re-invent himself to recover from chronic illness, what are the challenges men have today with their mental health, what is the Men of Mastery Brotherhood, what is Elevate Your State, and how we bring more inclusivity instead of division in the gender conversation. Enjoy!
