Ukrainos Knygos instituto vadovė Oleksandra Koval skaičiuoja, kad beveik 50 proc. šiuo metu Ukrainos viešosiose bibliotekose esančių knygų išleistos iki 1990 metų. Iš to kas liko, arti 30 proc yra išleistos Rusijoje ir tai yra bloga situacija, kurią reikia keisti, tačiau pokytis yra labai nelengvas šalyje vykstant karui, tačiau Ukrainos vyriausybė toliau stengiasi palaikyti ukrainiečių literatūros vertimų į kitas kalbas programą ir kalba apie būtinybę plėsti ukrainistikos studijas.Ved.
