KAS - Podcast # 94

Greetings all, This one was pieced together on Thanksgiving morning, while waiting for the kids to wake up... capturing my mood that morning. More importantly, and some of you may not like this, it also shows my progression to things techy. While I cannot see myself heading towards the hard tech stuff, I am appreciating that more metallic sound, especially when it's complimented by dark sultry vocals that actually mean something. While I started out playing mostly soulful house, deep house has been dominant in my sets now, and I kind like it. This one contains most of the "techy" type producers that have been grabbing my attention with their masterful productions: Ripperton, the Innervision crewe, Beanfield, Stimming, Deetron. Missing from this set is a Deetron (Thinking)from his latest album, and I'm quite upset that I forgot to add that one in while mixing it... There will be follow ups to this one so no biggie really. 01 - The Howling, Ry, Ame - Shortline (Frank Wiedemann Remix) 02 - Nathan X and Cuebur - so far away (nomumbah remix) 03 - Georg Levin - falling masonry (stimming remix) 04 - Rami Deejay, Keely Timlin - Burn Burn (Vas Floyd Remix) 05 - Tevo Howard feat. Tracey Thorn - Without Me 06 - Rudimental - Spoons feat. MNEK & Syron (Original Mix) 07 - Beanfield Feat. Marzenka - Bring You Love (Original Mix) 08 - Beanfield Feat. Marzenka - Alone (Original Mix) 09 - Ripperton - At Peace (feat Christina Wheeler) 10 - Miguel migs feat. meshell ndegeocello - close your eyes (deetron remix) 11 - Stimming - gaensebluemchen (original mix) 12 - Noze - ethiopo 13 - Cid & Niota - Na Wuti Musika (Afriki Soul Mix) 14 - Rhythm & Sound With Tikiman - Music A Fe Rule (Part 1) 15 - Suges - do with you (acapella) b/w Music A Fe Rule Not a favorites kinda guy as I've said before, but if I really have to rewind a track, it would have to be Ripperton's "At Peace"... LOVE that track. Anyway, stay Blessed PodO's. Be well. Please leave a comment letting me know what you think of the vibe... Please also let me know if you have any suggestions for me to incorporate into my sets.... will do all I can do to accommodate. KAS
