Also, with the start of k-12 schools, schedules and responsibilities change for kids and parents. How does this affect your dogs? What can you do to replace the daily companionship and exercise you and your kids were providing during summer? Listen Saturday at 9AM as Doctor Will Schultz, DVM (retired), Kate Marie Specht, owner of Dewitt Fence and Lee Cohen discuss these questions and more. First up is Janice Milligan Peters, owner of Doggy Daycare & Spa locations in Okemos and Delta Township. Janice will explain how daycare can be very productive for many dogs in creating their oasis of time each week where they can play and have companionship with other dogs and people in a safe and controlled environment. You will hear Kate explain how her dogs know when it is daycare day and wear themselves out to the degree that they tend to sleep well after they get home. Then Kate explains some unique examples of people creating fenced perimeters that are covered to allow more outdoor time. She also talks about the benefits of a fence with seasons changing. As circumstances change, what is your plan? For sound advice, give a listen to this weekend's edition of the Mid Michigan Pet Expert Talk Show - 1320 WILS on the radio
