Kate Vargas
from The Rodent Hour Hosted by Matt Attack
Grounded in a darkly melodic, reverb-washed sonic palette of dreampop, dusty folk and junkyard blues, all carried by rough-hewn vocals and guitar playing. https://katevargas.com Playlist Kate Vargas | This Affliction Kate Vargas | Second Skin Shadow Monster | Coffin Daniel Tortoledo | Dark Times (Brothers and Sisters) Viva Mayday | Demonic Woman Kate Vargas | Mountain Song Kate Vargas | 7 Inches Them Fangs | Life Do Change Such an enjoyable evening! This broadcast opened with a visit by DJ Kiks, host of Monday Mood on Radio Brooklyn, who had recently seen Kate Vargas live at Unit J and she highly recommends that you see Kate play live at the first available opportunity. (Keep an eye out for her upcoming Sofar Sounds show.) The Rodent Hour plays independent rock ‘n’ roll from Brooklyn & beyond. Matt Attack welcomes independent artists to the studio for tunes and talk about the music they create and play. Please like or follow us on social media:FacebookTwitterInstagram
