They had a must-win situation in late November when they had to beat Nebraska to host a Regional Championship. They had to come from behind 16-22 in the fourth set of the semifinals in Louisville to continue playing, and they had to rally around their head coach when she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in September.
